Eight new models from four series of Samsung’s MultiXpress multi-function printers equipped with Smart UX Centre – powered by Android – are now available in Singapore for businesses. Available at authorised Samsung business solutions partners.

In line with Samsung’s focus to develop printer solutions that fit seamlessly into the IT and Smart office ecosystem, the new Android-based multi-function printers (MFPs) operate independently without a PC while offering application scalability and a user friendly interface.

The new Smart MultiXpress MFPs each feature a 10.1-inch full touchscreen panel that enables users to search and print from web browsers, emails, maps, images and other types of content – without the need to connect to a PC or server.
The touchscreen also offers the ability to preview documents, as well as editing and annotating capabilities.

The imageCLASS LBP6030 and LBP6030w are now available at Canon authorised dealers at the recommended retail prices of S$119 and S$149 respectively.
New Canon imageCLASS LBP6030 (S$119) and LBP6030w (S$149, shown above) are now available in Singapore.
These black and white printers increase work productivity with their print speed and quality, while the LBP6030w version offers the flexibility and convenience of mobile printing.
The latest imageCLASS LBP6030 and LBP6030w are compact A4 monochrome single function laser printers designed for deployment in Small Office and Home Office (SOHO) environments.

Samsung Electronics Singapore has unveiled its A3 mono and colour copiers for the Singapore SMB market.

Samsung has also appointed Docu ConneX as the authorised distributor of Samsung enterprise solution printers and copiers in Singapore.

Fuji Xerox today launched the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P215 b (S$99), DocuPrint M215 b (S$169) and DocuPrint M215 fw (S$299). These monochrome printers are available in Singapore from today.

Created for small businesses and home offices, these compact, monochrome printers promises to help businesses save money, energy and reduce their impact on the environment.

Four of the these are colour printing machines while the remaining three are monochorme lasers. These new printers and Multi-Function Centres (MFCs) are targeted at small office / home office (SOHO) and small-medium businesses (SMBs).

Singapore is the first country to launch these 7 new Brother printers/MFCs in Southeast Asia.
To cater to cost-conscious SOHO/SMBs, the new monochrome printers/MFCs use affordable toners.

And to prevent paper jams, the new hassle-free printing technology includes a longer side guide to reduce paper skew, a short paper pass of 220mm, and an anti-curl system.
An enhanced two-roller system also picks up and separates the paper more efficiently.

Fuji Xerox is the first in the office equipment industry to open a direct office in Myanmar, with the aim of becoming the market leader in the emerging market within three years – in terms of sales revenue.
Fuji Xerox is setting up office in Myanmar to help expand its business in the developing nation.
The Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Myanmar Branch) in Yangon began operations on 1 April, 2013 and is headed by its General Manager – Yoshio Hanada.
The branch will be staffed by another Japanese and six local employees.
Since the start of the new government in 2011, Myanmar has been promoting deregulation which is stimulating its economy.
Competitors in Myanmar
Two other big players are Canon and Konica Minolta, with Canon currently in pole position and Fuji Xerox third in market share by revenue, reckons Honda.
The enactment of the new foreign investment law in 2012 will be leading to the creation of a special economic zone.
The number of foreign corporations, including Japanese companies, entering Myanmar is rapidly increasing, which is likely to boost the country’s economic growth.
Currently, Fuji Xerox provides multifunction devices in Myanmar via a local dealer, Concordia.
Under current regulations, Fuji Xerox is not allowed to have a direct sales force in the country.
The Myanmar Branch will therefore provide the dealer with support in carrying out sales activities and sales consulting services, as well as make proposals for high value-added products such as high-speed color publishing systems.
It will also help accelerate business development for the Government Sector.
