The iOS/Android MaNaDr app can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store & Google Play Store.

The MaNaDr platform is a holistic healthcare ecosystem that connects patients, families, and friends, to a trusted network of doctors and other healthcare providers.

“Besides using the mobile app to make healthcare affordable and more accessible, MaNaDr’s market differentiation is to provide a holistic suite of services at an affordable price, in the most convenient manner possible. Over time, we want to build a whole online community of doctors, patients, and other health and medical related services. Such a community will validate a doctor’s expertise, share patient experience, for example, and recommend the brand and type of medication and other lifestyle products that are effective. This ecosystem will be built on trust, which is a crucial success factor,” said Dr Siaw Tung Yeng, Founder & CEO, MaNaDr Mobile Health.

These providers include major pharmaceutical companies and key paramedical service providers such as Amgen, MundiPharma, OmniMed Healthcare (HomeCare), QuestLab etc.

Soft launched slightly more than a year ago, the concept has gained traction with the enrollment of 500 private clinics and 600 doctors (general practitioners, dentists & specialists) in Singapore and Australia serving a million patients through its MaNaDr app.

The growing patient database will enable big data analytics that empower doctors to track a patient’s condition to offer pre-emptive and pro-active healthcare.

MaNaDr mobile healthcare platform is owned by Mobile Health Pte Ltd (“Mobile Health”), a company set up by a group of Singapore doctors to harness the power of technology to make life-long, healthcare more affordable and accessible to all.

The Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan automatically removes 99.95% of indoor allergens and pollutants as small as 0.1 microns from the air.

The new Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan uses a unique 360° Glass HEPA filter.

“We think it is polluted outside of our homes, but the air inside can be far worse. Dyson engineers focused on developing a purifier that automatically removes ultrafine allergens, odours and pollutants from the indoor air, feeding real time air quality data back to you,” says James Dyson, Inventor & Founder of Dyson.

This technology captures 99.95% of ultrafine allergens, odours and pollutants as small as 0.1µ from the air – keeping them in the filter.

Sensors inside the machine detect changes in conditions, before automatically adjusting airflow to maintain the target air quality.

The machine projects cleaner, purified air around the room evenly and quietly, purifying all year round and doubling up as a fan to cool you in the summer.

Dyson currently already has a Pure Cool purifier fan on the market.

Friday, January 15th, 2016

RYDE is an iOS and Android app that lets paying subscribing members carpool.

A driver offers rides based on the journey he/she is planning to make while a rider posts the journey he/she needs.

“Our approach has been to solve the two key challenges of carpooling methodically – poor information exchange and a lack of mutual trust. We are the number one carpooling app in Singapore and our focus is on the social aspects of carpooling,” says Terence Zou, Founder and CEO of RYDE Technologies.

The app matches the two of them, based on best match, offering each a list of close matches in terms of their planned timings and routes, as well as personal preferences each can set – such as gender, age, and other profile information.

Drivers pay a subscription fee of S$30 a year to RYDE and can offer an unlimited number of rides while riders pay S$15 subscription a year to receive an unlimited number of rides.

Riders can also choose not to subscribe but they will have to pay 1 credit (currently set by RYDE as S$1) for each ride.

The credits can be purchased within the RYDE app that runs on iOS and Android devices.

The app also recommends an amount of money for the rider to pay the driver, based on the journey.
