The new ink system in the Pixma G570 and Pixma G670 combines with Canon photo papers to deliver exceptional print longevity, with photos that can resist fading for up to 200 years under the right storage conditions.

Canon’s latest Pixma photo printers promise high-quality photo prints at low cost.

Due to the increase in work from home and remote learning arrangements, this is ideal for businesses printing and selling photographic works and families who would like to print travel photos but are worried about printing costs.

“For homes and small businesses, printing high-quality photos can be costly and troublesome especially if they have to source a third-party vendor to do it. With the new PIXMA photo printers, we hope to make the photo printing process cost-efficient and at the same time, ensure that all photos are printed in high-quality,” said Edwin Teoh, Head of Marketing, Singapore Operations, Canon Singapore.

The Pixma photo printers’ 6-ink cartridge system makes photos look richer and more vivid.

In addition to the conventional CMYK 4-ink system, the Pixma G570 and G670 features additional red and grey ink cartridges.

The red ink supercharges photographs ranging from blood-red sunsets to automobiles in gleaming red, injecting an arterial intensity not possible with composite inks.

The grey ink ensures consistent monochromatic accuracy in print after print, while Black ink adds contrast, enhancing subject focus as well as fore from background separation.

With the exponentially increasing demand for storage space, businesses and home users constantly find themselves exhausting whatever storage they have – be it to store text documents, databases, photos or huge video files.

The NAS sitting pretty alongside the Linksys E9450 router, all set up with RAID5 in a Synology DS918+ DiskStation with three Seagate IronWolf Pro 14TB HDDs within.

And with the COVID-19 pandemic, employees are working from home and students are doing home-based learning – resulting in large increases in demand for storage needs at home eg. if you’re a creative pro who now have to do your video-editing at home instead of at the office.

The DocuCentre S2010 and S1810 print and copy at 20 pages per minute (ppm) and 18 ppm respectively. Both print images at up to 600 dpi resolution.

Fuji Xerox DocuCentre S2010 & S1810The Duplex Automatic Document Feeder loads up to 110 sheets and scans multi-page documents at 18 sheets per minute while the durable platen glass handles small or varied-sized documents and books for printouts.

Users can also electronically set and sort desired page order for fuss-free print collection, minimizing the need to manually collate high-volume printouts for faster turnaround time.

Multiple-Up function prints up to two pages on one sheet, and when in duplex mode – fits up to four pages on one piece of paper.

Fuji Xerox DocuCentre S2010 & S1810Further paper-saving can be achieved by digitizing documents up to a maximum of A3 size and storing scanned data to a personal computer (PC).

Connect a single user directly through USB or configure a network of multiple users through Ethernet support to facilitate document sharing.

The Toner Saver Mode calibrates toner density according to print or copy requirements, which controls ink usage and maximizes replacement schedules.

The MFDs can be configured to fit workflow requirements – a desktop set-up for individuals or small groups, or a stand-alone device for multiple users, with maximum paper tray capacity of up to 850 sheets.
