Below are more details from the press release.
Trouble free, user friendly, better productivity and assured speed
The DocuPrint P215 b, DocuPrint M215 b and DocuPrint M215 fw are high-quality, entry-level printers that offer the technology businesses need and the results they want.
“Many small businesses want high-quality printing capabilities without the expense of higher-end print solutions,” said James Henderson, President of Fuji Xerox Printer Channel (Asia Pacific and China).
Precise, compact, efficient and great value for money, the printers are ideal for small offices or home users.
Small enough to sit on a desk, the printers produce high-quality prints; and with few moving parts they’re extremely durable and ultra-quiet in operation.
So whether the device is set up in a home office or in the centre of a busy workgroup, great quality printing can be within reach without being a distraction.
Printing up to 24 pages-per-minute, these printers are among the fastest in their class.
Businesses without IT support or time to invest in troubleshooting printer issues will appreciate the easy setup and user-friendly features of these printers.
The few moving parts mean they require very little maintenance and have limited replacement needs. The only thing that requires changing is the toner cartridge – and that takes just a second or two.
Easy to use with intuitive LCD screen, wireless connectivity and direct scan to USB memory
For businesses wanting scan, copy and fax capabilities, the DocuPrint M215 fw offers a comprehensive range of multifunction printer features.
The built-in 10Base-T/100Base-TX networking and wireless function allows the printer to be conveniently connected to a business wireless network, removing the need for messy cabling.
In addition, the direct scan to USB function allows users to scan and store data easily and quickly, without the need for a PC at all. The intuitive LCD screen also makes it very easy for users to manage their printing directly from the device.
Energy efficiency saves money and the environment
The DocuPrint P215 b, DocuPrint M215 b and DocuPrint M215 fw boast a range of environmental features that reduce waste, environmental impact and costs to the business.
“These new printers offer a huge range of features that will more than satisfy the demands of small businesses, and will produce quality documents which they can be proud to share with customers and clients,” said Henderson.
The printers use the EA-Eco toner, which works with a fusing temperature 20 degrees Celsius lower than conventional toners.
This results in great energy-saving performance and up to 40 per cent reduction in power consumption during printing. The low fusing temperature and high gloss reproducibility achieve both energy savings and high image quality printing.
The EA-Eco toner also requires 25 percent less energy to manufacture which, combined with the lower fusing temperature, results in lower energy use and CO2 emissions.
Lastly, the fixed drum and smaller toner design mean there’s less waste going to landfill sites and Toner-Save Mode saves businesses even more money by reducing toner use by up to 30 per cent.
Small business printers with big business features – Guaranteed quality and reliability
These technologically superior and affordable printers from Fuji Xerox offer advanced technology: from award winning innovations to a host of practical features suited to any busy work environment.
“With a small physical and environmental footprint, as well as user-friendly features, small businesses looking for a cost-effective solution can’t go past the latest additions to the DocuPrint range,” added Henderson.
This includes the Fuji Xerox developed S-LED print head technology, which keeps the advantages of conventional LED’s, including mechanical reliability and compact design, while improving print quality and resolution.
The S-LED and DELCIS technology enables crisp and accurate 1200 x 1200 dpi printing. With fewer moving parts, the S-LED chips also allow systems to run with whisper quiet reliability and offer real energy savings.
The inclusion of Fuji Xerox DocuWorks 7.3 in the DocuPrint M215 fw, makes document management easy and intuitive by enabling businesses to create, retrieve, update, distribute and store documents securely from a computer desktop.
Users can use Digital Desk to process digital documents like paper print-outs; edit documents digitally with virtual notepads and markers; view, create, manipulate, print and manage files in PDF; protect documents with a password or digital signature, and more.
With sharp 1200 x 1200dpi printing and award winning S-LED and DELCIS technology, the DocuPrint P215 b, DocuPrint M215 b and DocuPrint M215 fw are perfect for small businesses looking for a feature-packed, cost-effective solution.
