New iPad App: iTrust by Borneo Motors and SingTel

Borneo Motors has launched a locally-developed iPad application – iTrust – in partnership with SingTel. The app helps staff provide Toyota customers a more personalised vehicle servicing experience with enhanced interactivity.

Customers will be able to view videos of comparative testing, such as the video of a Toyota Genuine Brake Pads alongside that of a counterfeit part.

The new app embodies 40 years of expertise and experience from Borneo Motors.

As most customers are not inclined to understand the technicalities of their Toyota’s servicing requirements, iTrust will enable the salesforce to explain the intricate details with clarity of visual and audio aids.

Xchanging launches insurance & procurement offerings in Asia

This could result in complacency where a notable percentage choose not to use mobile security – an alarming statistic, given how addicted they are to their mobile devices.

New Android smartphone: Samsung GALAXY S4 unpacked

Samsung has launched in New York the fourth generation GALAXY S. The GALAXY S4 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED with 441ppi, and uses either a Quad-Core or Octa-Core processor – depending on the market, available in white or black, 3G or LTE.

There’s a 2,600 mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB RAM, 16-64 GB user memory with microSD slot for up to 64GB, and loads of software features.

On April 6 and 7, bid for 20 laptops at starting prices of S$199 each. Proceeds go to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) to help out needy school children.

This is the second year that Newstead Technologies is holding its multi-brand laptop charity auction.
