World Backup Day: Join Twitter Party to learn about backup & win prizes!

Friday, March 31st, 2017

Have you done your backup recently? There’s no time like NOW!

Join the Twitter Party on #AcronisWBD at 4pm today to learn about backup and win prizes!

Established in 2011, World Backup Day serves to remind people the importance of protecting their data.

So backup now by making a copy of your data so you won’t lose it in case something happens to your computer.

So even if you’re hit by a virus, hardware failure, natural disaster, or anything else, you can restore your system from a reliable backup.

Here are three ways you can backup your data.

  1. External media. There is a wide variety of external storage media you can choose, including USB drives, external hard drives, DVDs and more.
  2. Cloud storage. Your internet connection means there are many cloud storage services available to you. Some are free, some you pay for.
  3. Network drives. If your computer is on a local area network (LAN), you can backup to a network folder or network attached storage (NAS) device.

A very atmospheric shot – many hands grasping at a light source.

An apt illustration for an alien movie, or “The X-Files”.

Really love the lighting!

POTD: Window (Canon PhotoMarathon 2016 winner)

This photo is really interesting.

“Those curious eyes just adds to the frame!!” says @artbyradha (artist) via Instagram.

The window serves as a picture frame so it looks like “there’s a picture within a picture”.

And to the people in the photo, the photographer is also a picture within a picture.

The window serves as the picture frame from both sides.

The third and final theme for Canon PhotoMarathon 2016 was: #NoFilter + #NewPerspective + #SPACE.
