Here are the technical specifications for the key features for the new Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet that was unveiled in New York City on last week.
Here are the local pricing, promotions and availability for the tablet in Singapore.
Surface Pro 3 is available with an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor with up to 512 GB of storage and up to 8 GB of RAM.
The new tablet is positioned as a laptop replacement and is targeting both consumers for personal use as well as enterprises for business use.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet features a more adjustable, continuous kickstand than its predecessors.
BMW Group, the Coca-Cola Company and LVMH Group have already committed to deploying Surface Pro 3 in their respective organisations, using the tablet in a business environment.

Lenovo today announced the availability of a new range of devices including the MIIX 2; FLEX 2; YOGA Tablet 10 HD+; new Y, G and Z Series clamshell laptops; and new A-series Android tablets.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ comes in Silver and Champagne Gold (shown here) comes with 10.1-inch Full HD 1920×1200 display. S$599 from mid-June 2014.
Key highlights of Lenovo’s latest range include the following.
- MIIX 2 – its unique detachable design gives users the freedom to choose between the tablet mode and a full Windows 8.1 laptop experience.

Created in collaboration with Audi Design, the Leica T will be launched with two lenses available: Leica Vario-Elmar-T 18–56 mm f/3.5–5.6 ASPH and Leica Summicron-T 23mm f/2 ASPH.

The Leica T was officially launched in Singapore today. The camera will be available in Singapore from 26 May 2014 at Leica Stores located at Raffles Hotel Arcade, Mandarin Gallery and ION Orchard.
The Leica T will be available in either a natural aluminum finish, or anodized black.
Two additional lenses are also scheduled to appear in time for presentation at Photokina 2014 on 21 September.

Came across an interesting educational implementation that combines the interactivity of an tablet-based app with the big screen delivery of educational content to captivate pre-school children.
ZooMoo has been available on StarHub Channel 306 from 1 April 2014, and will be free for 6 weeks. The app is available completely free on App Store and Google Play.
ZooMoo is an educational programme on StarHub Channel 306 that is “All about animals, all the time”.
ZooMoo will be presented to the public during AFCC 2014 in Singapore.Simply head to t the Plaza on Level 1 of the National Library Building for one of two sessions.
- 30 May 2014, 4:00pm – 4:30pm
- 1 Jun 2014, 12:30pm – 1:00pm
Targeted at children aged three to six, the programme uses a combination of puppets, high-production animation, narrative techniques and wildlife footage developed in collaboration with Wildlife Reserves Singapore.
The channel is designed to help children explore the animal world in ways that are entertaining, interactive and enriching.
Extending the ZooMoo experience
The free ZooMoo App is an interactive companion to the ZooMoo channel.
It is a unique second screen learning application that allows children to explore a world of animals and a range of educational content.
