TVS Motor (Singapore) Pte. Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TVS Motor Company Limited, India, has signed definitive agreements to invest US$3.2 million in Predictronics Corporation, which specialises in providing end-to-end predictive maintenance analytics solutions.

The new accessories for the KEF LSX are now available in Singapore
In addition to the exciting new accessories range, KEF recently announced the introduction of Apple AirPlay 2 enabling LSX owners to stream music, videos and games from any Apple device including iPhone, iPad or Mac to their speaker.
To update to AirPlay 2, the new firmware will be deployed over-the-air and applied across all existing products purchased by existing and future customers.

Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac is now ready for macOS Catalina (10.15) and moves to Apple Metal API with support for DirectX 11 for better speed and graphics for users. Prices below.
Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac also features Sidecar support with full Apple Pencil integration, including tilt, and a new Touch Bar pane for Apple Pencil 2 double-tap.

D-Link’s new EXO series includes smart mesh router DIR-2660 (AC2600) and DIR-1360 (AC1300) as well as mesh extender DRA-2060 (AC2000) and DRA-1360 (AC1300).
Four new smart mesh routers and extenders in the new EXO series from D-Link for a smart mesh Wi-Fi.

Certified to work with Arlo’s most popular base station models that support Arlo Pro and Pro 2 cameras, users can now add HomeKit automations, allowing automatic interactions across supported devices.
Existing Arlo Pro and Pro 2 security camera users whose cameras are paired with either the VMB4000 or VMB4500 base station models will now be able to receive notifications on the Apple Home app when motion is detected.
HomeKit, Apple’s smart home platform, is now supported on Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 Security Camera Systems that are paired with Arlo’s most popular base station models, VMB4000 and VMB4500.
While Arlo users can already control their Pro or Pro 2 cameras via the Arlo app, HomeKit compatibility will provide added convenience for iPhone and iPad users.

The Galaxy Note10 (6.8”) & Note 10+ (6.3”) will hit the shelves on 23 August with enhanced S Pen and “pro-grade” camera.
The Note10 & Note 10+ were unveiled this morning during Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2019 in New York on 7 August at 4pm EDT.
The Galaxy Note10 starts at US$950 while the Note10+ starts at US$1,100, slightly more expensive than the S10 smartphone which ranges between US$900 to US$1,000.
First looks and hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note10 (S$1,398) and Galaxy Note10+ (S$1,598/S$1,898 for 256GB/512GB respectively) which will be available in Singapore from 24 August, 2019.
The previous Note9 has a 6.4-inch display while the current S10 is around the same size as the 6.3” Note10 with slightly less screen size.
The new phablets charge via a USB-C port which doubles up as an audio port as the 3.5mm headphone jack is gone.
Samsung first introduced the Galaxy Note series 8 years ago in 2011 – its differentiators were its large size and the stylus pen.
The latest iteration is the ninth, because Samsung skipped Note 6 altogether to align its numbering with its other flagship line, the S series of smartphones.
Samsung typically launches the S series in February and the Note series in late summer.
The Note10 has four cameras (1 front and 3 rear) – the three rear cameras comprising a 16MP ultra wide (123°), a 12MP wide-angle (77°) and a 12MPtelephoto (45°).
The front camera has 10 megapixels at 80° field of view.
The Note10+ has one extra rear camera (1 front and 4 rear) – the DepthVision camera.
The other cameras are the same in both versions.

The Singapore-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) gathered nine Singapore companies who are forming the Singapore Pavilion at IFA 2019 to give sneak previews of the main products that they are showcasing at the annual consumer electronics and home appliances fair.
Here are some smart locks from Igloohome.
IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin – international radio exhibition Berlin) is a global consumer electronics and home appliances show held annually in Berlin in September.
The myFirst kids’ tech collection by Oaxis makes children-version gadgets of devices that adults use. Seen here is a microphone, a smartwatch, earphones, a “gopro” camera, and a “instax” camera.
IFA this year will be from 6-11 September and will include the following nine home-grown tech companies in the Singapore Pavilion.

Singapore-based DocDoc which positions itself as “the world’s first patient intelligence company”, has today announced the close of an institutional capital raise of US$13 million, bringing the total funding the company has raised to date to US$24.6 million.
