GoalBetter will offer a suite of benefits – including insurance, medical teleconsultation and fuel rebates – for private-hire drivers in Singapore.

GOJEK has today unveiled GoalBetter, its dedicated benefits programme for driver-partners in Singapore.
GOJEK has been steadily rolling out its partnerships for staff benefits over the past few months.
These four partnerships with 3rd-party service providers – DBS Bank, Esso (ExxonMobil), Gigacover & Doctor Anywhere – has been bundled together under its GoalBetter programme for its driver-partners to provide all-rounded benefits for them.
Launching in an initial pilot phase to selected drivers on April 1, GoalBetter will roll out to all eligible drivers from June.
GoalBetter is built on four pillars: better earnings stability; better protection; better flexibility; and better experience.
Through partnerships with third-party service providers, GOJEK will offer its driver-partners a suite of benefits that align with GoalBetter’s four pillars.

China phone maker Huawei launched the new P30 (128GB/8GB – S$998) and P30 Pro (256GB/8GB – S$1,398) in Paris. The two phones will hit the shelves in Singapore on 6 April, 2019.
For Singapore, both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro (256GB) will come in colours of Breathing Crystal, Aurora and Black while the P30 Pro (512GB) will be available in Aurora.
The new phones feature Huawei’s SuperSpectrum Sensor, an optical Huawei SuperZoom lens, a new Time of Flight (TOF) camera, and better OIS and AIS image stabilisation technology.

With each purchase of P30 or P30 Pro:
- Watch GT (worth S$368)
- JBL Clip 2 (worth S$99)
Customers can head down to VivoCity, Central Court Level 1, from 10am to 10pm over the weekend (6 April) and receive a gift set worth up to S$470 with every purchase of the Huawei P30 or P30 Pro, while stocks last.
Preorders will be available online to customers from 27 March (Wed), 12am SGT, through local telecommunication operators and at Huawei Official Store with Lazada.
The upsized variant of the HUAWEI P30 Pro with 512GB storage (S$1,698) will also be on sale exclusively for shoppers on Lazada, with limited quantities available.

With the full Singapore launch of Razer Pay coming up in H1 2019, Razer is inviting fans and gamers to join the app’s beta phase by applying for access here.

Razer fans and gamers in Singapore can be among the first in the country to participate in a limited beta of the upcoming Razer Pay e-wallet.
“We’re thrilled to offer all Razer fans and gamers in Singapore the opportunity to sign up for the closed beta launch of Razer Pay and play a part in helping us ready the app for its full public launch,” said Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan.
Successful applicants will be sent a unique access code for the Razer Pay app via text message in the next few days.

The new Canon EOS RP is the entry-level model in Canon’s full-frame mirrorless camera range, following the mid-tier EOS R that was released last year. Prices and specs below.
The new Canon EOS RP full-frame, mirrorless, interchangeable-lens camera.
The new EOS RP has a more compact and lighter body compared to the EOS R.
The full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera has a 26.2-megapixel Dual Pixel CMOS sensor, 0.05s focusing speed and EV -5 focussing capabilities.

Lazada expands its supermarket portfolio by moving Redmart grocery shopping in Singapore into the Lazada app, effective from 15 March, 2019.
James Chang, CEO of Lazada Singapore, answering media questions alongside Jing Yin, Co-President of Commercial for Lazada Group; and Roger Egan, Redmart co-founder/CEO who has been appointed Lazada Group Head of Supermarket.
Lazada acquired Redmart more than 2 yrs ago in 2016.
From 15 March, 2019, Singapore consumers will only be able to buy Redmart groceries from the Lazada app.
The Transition
RedMart customers will still be able to shop on the existing RedMart app and website until 14 March 2019, 11.59pm.
Thereafter, customers are encouraged to download the Lazada app to continue enjoying high-quality fresh and frozen food items and other daily necessities delivered to their doorstep, hassle-free.

Orders on the new RedMart on Lazada will continue to be fulfilled by RedMart in customers’ chosen two-hour delivery slot between 7 AM and 10 PM, seven days a week including public holidays, while orders with other Lazada sellers will be fulfilled separately.
The ecommerce company plans to grow its supermarket segment beyond Singapore to another of its 6 ASEAN locations around end 2019.
