Hwee Seng Electronics launches in Singapore 6 models of air purifiers from AirFree. The air purifiers reduce ozone concentrations and destroy 99% of airborne allergens by burning microorganisms at the high temperature of a ceramic core.
The Lotus air purifier from AirFree, capable of covering 60 square metres of indoor space.
The purifiers are maintenance free as they do not use filters – as opposed to most HEPA-filter based air purifiers.
The heated air from the hot ceramic core is released back into the room through the top of the air purifier and cool air is sucked in through the air vents at the bottom of the air purifier because of convection currents.
Jabra launches in Singapore the Elite Sport (S$368) Bluetooth wireless earbuds & Jabra Elite 25e (S$138) Bluetooth wireless earphones.
The upgraded Jabra Elite Sport true wireless earbuds offers a new colour (Lime Grey, in addition to the current Black) and boasts 50% more battery life.

Hot on the heels of Epson’s launch of the rival’s L-series ink tank printers yesterday, Canon has launched four new models in its PIXMA series of inkjet printers.
Canon’s new lineup is skewed more towards photo printing – three out of the four new models are photo all-in-one printers while the fourth is targeted at small businesses and SOHOs.

Microsoft boasts that the Xbox One X has 40 percent more power than any other console, and users can experience immersive true 4K gaming when paired with a 4K display.
The photos taken can be digitally edited on the camera for brightness and contrast, with the addition of 10 Instagram-like filters and a vignette effect before printing. The SQ10 sports a 3-inch TFT colour LCD monitor with approximately 460k dots.
The SQ10 has 3.5 megapixels (1920 x 1920) and has a fixed aperture (F2.4) and focal length 28.5mm (35mm format equivalent).
The photos can be transferred via the microSD card – each gigabyte of memory stores up to 1000 photos.
Samsung unveiled their new flagship Android smartphones at the Samsung Unpacked 2017 event in New York which was streamed live to fans all around the world. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available in select countries from 21 April.

Registration of interest and pre-order for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will commence from 7 April 2017 at all telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores’ websites, Lazada Singapore and Samsung Experience Stores.
Pre-order for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will also be available at the Galaxy Studio at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City during opening hours from 14 April 2017.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in colour options of Maple Gold, Midnight Black and Orchid Gray from 29 April 2017 at the recommended retail price of S$1,148 (S8) and S$1,298 (S8+).
The devices will be available at all local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores, authorised mobile retailers, Samsung Experience Stores and Lazada Singapore.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 measures 5.8 inches while the S8+ is a bigger 6.2 inches. Both have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.
