The Leica SL3 is now available globally at all Leica Stores, the Leica Online Store, and authorised dealers — with a retail price of S$10,400 inclusive of GST.

The “Made in Germany” Leica SL3 offers an optimised design, efficient user interface, and the versatile L-Mount bayonet to offer a mirrorless full-frame camera boasting high image quality.

At the core of the Leica SL3 is the BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, protected in a solid all-metal body with elegant leather.

The sensor records raw files in DNG or JPEG format with a resolution of either 60, 36 or 18 MP.

In each case, the full sensor surface is used.

The SL3 has a dynamic range expanded to 15 f-stops and an ISO range from 50 to 100,000.

With phase detection (PDAF), depth mapping (Object Detection AF), and contrast recognition (Contrast Detection AF), the autofocus system of the SL3 combines the strengths of three technologies to create sharp pictures even in dim light.

It had not snowed in the Cotswolds for a few years now so it was a pleasant surprise to see the neighbourhood blanketed with snow when we woke up one evening.

As a result, we got to see a side of the Cotswolds not usually experienced by tourists – a winter wonderland of charming cottages nestled in a snowy landscape.

Event Forecast: i Light Singapore 2022 Back in Singapore With Oppo

i Light Singapore is back in Singapore Marina Bay from 3 – 26 June after a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic. The highlight of this year’s light festival is a floating exhibit titled “Lightwave: Isle of Light, empowered by OPPO”.

“i Light Singapore’s focus on raising awareness of sustainability is aligned with OPPO’s mission of ‘technology for mankind, kindness for the world’. We are excited to be part of the Festival for the second time as it returns after a two-year hiatus,” said Dylan Yu, Marketing Director of OPPO Singapore.

i Light Singapore 2022 is happening from 3 to 26 June, 7.30 to 11pm daily with extended hours to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Here’s Jason Chen, Festival Director, presenting an overview of i Light Singapore 2022.

This year’s festival sees 20 light installations from 14 countries, of which Oppo’s floating exhibit is the highlight.

Titled “Firefly Field”, this exhibit is by multidisciplinary design studio TOER of the Netherlands and is my personal favourite.

The exhibit comprises five zones which include holographic projections, illuminated motion-capture graphics and shadow play, as well as light beams that create a mystical forest, and a light art showcase.

Canon Opens Entries For New Cosmos Of Photography 2020 Competition

Canon will accept entries for its “New Cosmos of Photography 2020” (43rd edition) photo competition from 18 March to 20 May.

Last year’s winners. This year’s Excellence Award and Honorable Mention Award winners will receive prize money and display their works at this year’s exhibition of winning entries.

The Excellence Award Selection Committee will meet in June to choose seven Excellence Award winners and fourteen Honorable Mention Award winners.

Judges for the 2019 competition. To promote the competition as a global photo contest, experts from outside Japan have once again been invited to judge the 2020 competition this year. This year’s seven judges include British Photographer Paul Graham, Japanese art critic Noi Sawaragi and Japanese photographer Mikiya Takimoto.
