Sony’s annual Alpha Creators contest is back for its fourth edition this year.

Boasting both a photo and video contest for the first time, content creators are being invited to capture and celebrate the beauty and vibrancy of Singapore, especially after a year of extraordinary change in 2020.

Through the contest, Sony aims to bring together both amateur and seasoned creatives to challenge boundaries and rediscover the passion, positivity and inspiration that is all around us.

The contest will be judged by four key opinion leaders across both the photography and videography industries.

Judges for the Photography contest include professional photographer, Lee Aiksoon and creative designer, Aristelle Siew; and the judges for the Videography contest are Fashion and Lifestyle videographer Jaegen Tan and filmmaker and vlogger, Shawne Koh.

Four semi-finalists – two each from the photography and videography categories – will be selected to enter Phase 2 of the contest.

The grand prize winners for each category will be crowned on 27 October 2021, and 10 honourable mention submissions will be featured on its digital gallery the same day.
