The annual photography competition takes place today on Saturday, 19 November, 2016 at the Suntec City Convention & Exhibition Centre 401-402.

The results of the Canon PhotoMarathon has been released.

Canon has launched today a whole slew of personal/business/photo printers, as well as a new line of wireless presenters. Prices & availability below.

The products that Canon launched today include the following. Most are available now or later this month.
- Canon PIXMA TS8070 (S$299) and TS5070 (S$199) Photo Printers.
- Canon imageCLASS MFP (S$229-379).
- Canon PIXMA E410 (S$89) and E470 (S$119).
- Canon PIXMA Ink Efficient G4000 (S$389).

Some 2,000 photography enthusiasts participated in this year’s Canon PhotoMarathon.
The results of the Canon PhotoMarathon has been released and are listed here.
Registration is open for Canon PhotoMarathon XIV in Singapore.
Registration is now open for the biggest photography event in Singapore.
The overall winner stands to win an all expenses paid trip to Japan.

The new Canon XEED WUX450ST projector promises stunning image quality, adaptability, and control for myriad of installation scenarios. Now available in Singapore at S$9,600.
The Canon XEED WUX450ST is suitable for a wide range of markets including higher education, museums and galleries, corporate institutions, and for applications such as simulation, training, or digital signage.
Canon’s newest short throw projector, the XEED WUX450ST LCOS (Compact Install Model) has a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200, 4,500 lumens of brightness, and Canon’s LCOS technology with Aspectual Illumination System (AISYS) enhancement.
With its 1.35x optical zoom, short throw ratio of 0.56:1, and 0 to +75 percent vertical lens shift (manual), the XEED WUX450ST offers installation flexibility in various settings.

Canon breaks into 4K projection market with the XEED 4K500ST, which is equipped for a variety of applications. Available in Singapore now: S$65,000.
Canon boasts that the XEED 4K500ST is currently the world’s smallest and lightest 4K installation projector. S$65,000.
Canon today introduced its first 4K installation projector, the XEED 4K500ST.
Designed for a wide range of applications including simulation, medical imaging, and engineering, the XEED 4K500ST offers 4K resolution whilst being compact and lightweight.

Canon is launching the imageCLASS MF515x, under a new series in the imageCLASS multi-function line of printers, as well as the imageCLASS MF416dw.
“Organisations today are constantly looking at their business processes to gain a competitive edge. With its advanced functionality and network connectivity capabilities, our flagship imageCLASS MF515x integrates easily into existing networks thereby providing enhanced operational and cost efficiencies, productivity, and security to meet the needs of the business world,” said Edwin Teoh, Head of Marketing, Singapore Operations, Canon Singapore.
The imageCLASS MF515x comprises is designed to enable greater productivity, with features that include embedded uniFLOW, optional barcode printing, and eMaintenance support.
The imageCLASS MF416dw is equipped to handle large volume print jobs, thereby maximising efficiency for businesses.
Improved productivity and added convenience
Both models support two-sided printing, mobile printing, and flexibility to increase paper input capacity.
Both devices come with auto duplex scanning feature, and is capable of handling a variety of document sizes for fast duplex scanning or copying.
The imageCLASS MF515x also allows a wider scan range of legal-sized documents with its platen glass.
The 3.5-inch Touch Screen LCD Display allows users to navigate through the menu, create shortcuts to access frequent tasks.
The imageCLASS MF416dw prints at 33 ppm, while the imageCLASS MF515x offers a high print speed of 40 ppm.

Both cameras are designed for use in extreme low-light conditions. The ME20F-SH (S$31,029) will be available from May 2016, while the ME200S-SH (S$TBA) will be available from August.

The ME20F-SH is Canon’s first ultra-high-sensitivity multi-purpose camera that captures high quality videos in extreme low-light situations.
It is able to shoot Full HD videos (1080p @ 60fps) at 0.0005 lux illumination (ISO 4,000,000+ equivalent)
The Canon ME20F-SH fitted with lens, monitor, SSD and other accessories on a tripod, in the demo at the Canon Singapore office.
The ME200S-SH also boasts high sensitivity (up to ISO 204,800) and supports a variety of production needs ranging from video production to security surveillance.
The price of the ME200S-SH is not released yet but is expected to be much lower than the S$31,029 price-tag of the higher-end ME20F-SH.

The 35mm full frame EOS-1D X Mark II is the new Canon flagship professional DSLR successor to the EOS-1D X. Price & availability in Singapore TBA.
Update (5 April, 2016):
The EOS-1D X Mark II will be available at all Canon authorised dealers in May, at the recommended retail price of S$8,199.
The new Canon EOS-1D X Mark II has a 20.2-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor with expanded ISO speeds up to 409,600.
The EOS-1D X Mark II is designed for high-speed photography and records 4K video.

Canon has launched three new cameras: the mirrorless EOS M10 (S$TBD) and two PowerShot compact cameras, the G5 X (S$999) and G9 X (S$619).
