Dell Technologies introduces new offerings to help customers quickly and securely build generative AI (GenAI) models on-premises to accelerate improved outcomes and drive new levels of intelligence.
“Dell’s AI solutions offers enterprises the potential to right-size their GenAI efforts and help streamline operations as customers look to quickly deliver products and services across industry-specific use cases. In the era of intelligent automation, Dell Technologies is meeting organisations wherever they are in their GenAI journey, helping them position themselves for success in an increasingly intelligent and technology-driven world,” said Ashish Nadkarni, group vice president and general manager, worldwide infrastructure and BuyerView research, IDC.
Dell held a pre-embargo briefing last week prior to the official announcement today.
Here’s a quick summary:
- Dell Generative AI Solutions include a new suite of Dell products and services, in collaboration with NVIDIA, to help businesses gain real-time insights and enable innovation through intelligence.
- Dell Validated Design for Generative AI with NVIDIA offers pre-tested and proven Dell infrastructure, software and services to power transformative business outcomes with GenAI.
- Dell Professional Services help customers with strategy, implementation and scaling to accelerate GenAI adoption.
- Dell Precision workstations, with expanded NVIDIA GPU configurations, help users accelerate GenAI workloads locally on the device.

The new Arlo Pro 5 2K Security Camera is now available in Singapore at S$329.
“The Arlo Pro 5 is one of the most secure and reliable security cameras Arlo has engineered to date. Integrating two wireless technologies into one extremely compact form factor ensures users are better equipped to ‘protect their everything’,” said Bradley Little, Arlo Vice President of Sales — APAC.
The latest addition to the Pro series, the Arlo Pro 5 2K Security Camera operates off Dual-Band Wi-Fi support, with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connections allowing users to enjoy faster video loading, and less buffering, so they can see what is happening faster.
“Supporting the overall Pro 5 experience, is the intuitive Arlo Secure app that ensures frictionless access to the most comprehensive monitoring tools available,” said Bradley Little, Arlo Vice President of Sales — APAC.
Users will also welcome significant battery life improvements, with the Pro 5 offering up to 30% longer battery life than the Arlo Pro 4 Security Camera.
Through a paid Arlo Secure subscription (not included), users can take their security to the next level with time-saving automations that can be programmed to trigger events such as geo-fencing, mode changes, schedules, alarms and more.

According to a survey commissioned by Keysight Technologies, 76% of space professionals see software test automation as one of the industry’s top challenges. tech4tea.com talks with Keysight’s Greg Patschke about the findings of the survey, the challenges facing engineers, and the industry’s future opportunities.
“Defying Gravity” is an in-depth survey of current and future trends in the space tech industry. The survey analyzes drivers of the growth within the industry, technology trends, and the challenges at hand.
Why did Keysight commission the “Defying Gravity” survey?
Greg Patschke shared that the company wanted to understand the opinions of senior leaders about where electronic system design, test, and measurement could provide value in the satellite and space industry based on current market dynamics.
He said that Keysight has seen a steady ramp in innovation and non-government, private commercial investment in the satellite industry during the last five years and wanted to confirm the industry’s transition from large, geosynchronous earth orbit (GEO) to smaller low earth orbit (LEO) satellites enabled by the drastic reduction in launch costs.
