New Arrival: Oppo Band 2 Wearable Fitness Watch in Singapore

The Oppo Band 2 (S$99) will hit the shelves in Singapore tomorrow (23 September 2022) on Oppo’s Amazon, Lazada, Qoo10, Shopee and TikTok flagship stores, authorised retailers, and partner consumer electronic stores.

The Oppo Band 2 ships in Blue or Black and sports a 1.57-inch AMOLED screen, with 256 x 402 resolution and 302 ppi pixel density.

The Oppo Band 2 is equipped with a 6-axis motion sensor, as well as heart rate and blood oxygen sensors.

Huawei has launched online the new Mate Xs 2 folding phablet, as well as a slew of health and fitness wearables.

Preview: Huawei Health and Fitness Smart Wearables

Huawei held a special sneak preview for select media on some of the health and fitness wearables that they plan to launch later this month.

The wearables featured during the briefing included the following.

The new products covered a large spectrum of people ranging from those who just want some basic health data, to fitness enthusiasts who want in-depth data to hone their training; as well as the health conscious who want to measure detailed data about their health, such as blood pressure and heartbeat characteristics.

Later in the month, Huawei is expected to officially launch these devices together with additional products such as the Huawei Mate Xs 2 folding phablet and the Huawei S-Tag tagging accessory.

The whole slew of new iPhone 13 has been unveiled, with big changes to the iPad mini, a refreshed 10.2-inch iPad and a new Apple Watch Series 7.

The iPhone 13 series gets the new A15 Bionic chip – a six-core CPU with two high-performance cores, four high-efficiency cores and a quad-core GPU.

The back cameras have been upgraded with wider apertures and new video features, including a Cinematic mode, which transits in-shooting focus smoothly from one subject to another.

There is also a macro lens, and smarter software to recognise skin tones to enable adjustments in tone and warmth filters.

Apple boasts that the iPhone 13 will have a longer battery life than its predecessor, despite its faster chip, 5G, better cameras and new features.

These watches are design tested in Finland to be shock-proof, water-proof, and dirt-proof.

Its Suunto 3, 5 and 9 emphasizes autonomy and sports features that do not require connection to the Internet.

The new Fitbit Versa smartwatch is now available globally and in Singapore at S$318, with accessories ranging from S$50 – S$140. Includes female health tracking and quick replies to mobile Android device messages (from May).
