Office 365 Personal – annual subscription S$89 – allows individuals to install Office on one PC or one Mac, as well as one tablet device to be connected to the service.
Office 365 Home Premium – at S$138 per year – allows installation on up to five PC/Mac computers and five tablets (including iPad).
Introductory local promotions (until 30 June, 2014):

- Save $20 when you purchase Office 365 Personal with a new PC, Windows 8 Tablet of Mac.

Microsoft Office 365 Personal is now available from Singapore at an annual subscription of S$89 per year.
Office 365 Personal is suitable for individuals or small households who share a single computer to use Office.
Customers can buy Office 365 Personal and Office 365 Home at authorised retailers in Singapore (eg. Best Denki, Courts, Challenger, Harvey Norman, Newstead).
You can also buy at the online Microsoft Store from today, although the price on the online store is listed as S$98 (with one month free Spotify subscription).
For people or households who use Office on more than one device, it is more worthwhile to purchase Office 365 Home (previously called Office 365 Home Premium) instead.
Office 365 Personal and Home includes the complete set of Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access.

StarHub’s new TriSIM card comes in three different sizes – Standard SIM, MicroSIM and NanoSIM.

A TriSIM card can be used for mobile devices using any of the three SIM card sizes.
Depending on the specific model of the smartphone or tablet being used, consumers have to choose from one of the three form factors depending on their mobile device.
Customers who sign up for a StarHub Mobile plan can get the new universal SIM card at $37.45, while existing subscribers can replace their current SIM card for $26.75.
The universal SIM card is also available for mobile pre-paid customers at StarHub Shops and selected 7-Eleven stores.
This could be a hassle for some customers who regularly switch between devices that operate on different sizes of SIM cards.
StarHub’s is offering Singapore’s first universal TriSIM card, bundling all three form factors in a compact package at no extra cost to consumers.

Samsung KNOX is available on Samsung GALAXY S4, GALAXY Note 3, GALAXY Note 10.1 2014 Edition (LTE version) devices, as well as the upcoming GALAXY NotePRO and TabPRO line of tablets.
The Samsung KNOX license and technical support options are now available via key mobile operators and partners in Singapore.

Panasonic claims the 7-inch Windows 8.1 Pro fully-rugged tablet is the lightest and thinnest device of its kind . Available in March 2014. Price TBA.

Panasonic has launched the Toughpad FZ-M1 tablet (together with the Toughbook CF-LX3) in Singapore. It will be available in March 2014 at S$2,600.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1 fully rugged 7-inch Windows 8.1 Pro tablet offers power, flexibility and durability for maximum mobile workforce productivity.
Panasonic introduced during 2014 International CES the latest member of its Toughpad family of rugged, enterprise-grade tablets.
The Toughpad FZ-M1 is designed to improve productivity and efficiency in a host of professional scenarios.

Lenovo unveiled its new Android 4.2 Yoga Tablet today in a global live stream launch event. Both the 8-inch (start from S$449) and 10-inch (S$549) versions will be available in Singapore by end November. Pre-orders start from 1 November until 10 November.

The new Lenovo Yoga Tablet is designed to resemble a physical book with a “graspable” spine.
The amazing thing about the Yoga Tablet is its 6000 mAh battery, which boasts a life of 18 hours (of Wi-Fi web browsing), and can even be used to charge other mobile devices!

The cylindrical battery is a nice design touch and makes holding the tablet more secure and comfortable.

iPad mini with Retina display with a more powerful 64-bit Apple-designed A7 chip.Basically the 9.7-inch display of its bigger sibling is “squeezed” into 7.9 inches, with the same number of pixels but higher pixel density.
