From today till Sunday, the first of the four large annual IT exhibitions in Singapore takes place for four days (27 Feb – 2 Mar) at the Marina Bay Sands, Levels 1 & B2. IT Show 2014 will open daily from 12 pm to 9 pm (Admission FREE).

TODAY: Samsung launches GALAXY S4 With LTE+ in Singapore

Nine months after the launch of the original GALAXY S4 With LTE in Singapore, Samsung is selling from today the GALAXY S4 With LTE+. The Android smartphone is priced at S$848 (down from S$998 for its predecessor).

The Android smartphone also enjoys enhanced data speed support up to 150Mbps with 4G Cat4 for faster loading of games, videos and webpages.

Three months after the GALAXY Note 3 phablet was launched in Singapore, Samsung will be selling the Blush Pink version of the GALAXY Note 3 With LTE tomorrow (4 January) at a lowered price of S$998.

IT Fair: SITEX 2013 (28 Nov – 1 Dec) @ Singapore EXPO

From Thursday this week, the final of the four large annual IT exhibitions in Singapore will take place for four days (28 Nov – 1 Dec) at the Singapore EXPO, in Halls 4B-6. SITEX 2013 will open daily from 11 am to 9 pm (Admission FREE).

New arrivals: Lenovo unveils its first multimode Yoga Tablet

Lenovo unveiled its new Android 4.2 Yoga Tablet today in a global live stream launch event. Both the 8-inch (start from S$449) and 10-inch (S$549) versions will be available in Singapore by end November. Pre-orders start from 1 November until 10 November.

Apple announces new iPads, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro & OS X Mavericks

Apple announced the new 9.7-inch iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display, new Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, free OS X Mavericks, as well as free iWork & iLife apps for OS X & iOS devices. All prices below include GST.

iPad Air with 9.7” Retina display. 20% thinner and 28% lighter compared to the current 4th Generation iPad.

iPad mini with Retina display with a more powerful 64-bit Apple-designed A7 chip.Basically the 9.7-inch display of its bigger sibling is “squeezed” into 7.9 inches, with the same number of pixels but higher pixel density.

It now packs 3.1 million pixels (2048 x 1536) @ 326 ppi. Prices for the various configurations are tabulated below.

New arrivals: 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) LTE & Wi-Fi hits Singapore TODAY

The 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) LTE model (S$529) and Wi-Fi only model (S$429) from ASUS and Google are now available in Singapore TODAY. The 16GB Wi-Fi model (S$379) first debuted in Singapore last month.

In terms of technical specifications and physical dimensions, the new models are identical with the 16GB Wi-Fi model.

The new 32GB Wi-Fi model has twice the internal memory while the LTE model has 32GB plus LTE network connectivity.
