CES 2023: Asus ROG to Reveal New Gaming Laptops at “Maxed Out”

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) will be announcing its new 2023 gaming laptop lineup, with new CPUs and GPUs from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA; and improvements to its Intelligent Cooling Technology.

Exciting powerful gaming laptops and displays await the avid gamer at the Asus ROG “Maxed Out” launch event.

The 2023 Strix family will feature new models with improved cooling and enlarged 16- and 18-inch screens.

The new thin-and-light Zephyrus M16 arrives with an AniMe Matrix display, while the redesigned Flow X13 and XG Mobile have both been upgraded to take advantage of the latest hardware.

More laptops will be graced with Mini LED displays and larger full-width heatsinks.

CES 2023: LG Unveils 2nd-Generation LG Signature Home Appliances

Seven years after its initial launch, LG revamps its Signature appliances by adding differentiated features and technologies that offer more convenience, new colours, materials and finishes that bring a sleeker, more minimalist look to the home.

LG Electronics (LG) will unveil its second-generation LG Signature home appliance lineup at CES 2023, in the LG Signature zone of LG’s booth under the theme of “Live Beyond”.

“LG SIGNATURE second-generation appliances combine our exclusive technologies, an array of enhanced features of convenience and efficiency, and gorgeous, modern design for a smart, sustainable and more luxurious life at home,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.

The models on display at CES will include the new LG Signature 4-Door French-Door refrigerator with Dual InstaView™; a washer and dryer pair with 7-inch LCD touch panels; Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with smart InstaView™; and the double Oven Slide-in Range with built-in cameras and automatic time and temperature-setting functionality.

Among other LG Signature products appearing in the exhibit are an air conditioner, air purifier, OLED TV and the Wine Cellar.

The LG SIGNATURE zone, comprising a living room, laundry room and kitchen, has been created in partnership with Italian designer furniture brand, Molteni&C.

Appointment: Messe Berlin IFA 2022 Under New Dual Leadership

David Ruetz and Kai Mangelberger are taking over IFA 2022 as the Senior Vice President and Director of IFA 2022 respectively, receiving the batons from incumbents Jens Heithecker and Dirk Koslowski.

One hundred days before IFA 2022 opens its doors, Messe Berlin has appointed David Ruetz (53) and Kai Mangelberger (42) as the new dual heads of IFA 2022.

“I will be able to rely on the expertise of the IFA project team. My colleagues have been familiar with this market for many years and in the past have repeatedly shown that Messe Berlin knows how to do live events. Here in the capital we are offering our international visitors a platform for good business, networking and a good overview of trends,” said David Ruetz, SVP, IFA 2022.

This team replaces the previous IFA leadership of Jens Heithecker and Dirk Koslowski.

As head of ITB Berlin, the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show, David Ruetz has broad knowledge of developing successful global B2B projects.

As an experienced international communications expert, he has been in charge of ITB at Messe Berlin since 2002.

In this period he contributed decisively to transforming the trade show into a global brand.

During the pandemic, ITB was successfully able to drive forward digitalisation, and with ITB.com it created a main platform for the global tourism community.

Hans-Joachim Kamp opened the global press conference with the major trends for TCG.

He concluded that the Global Market for technical consumer goods was still growing, especially smart and connected devices are gaining importance.
