Rolls-Royce partners Nanyang Polytechnic for VR experience

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars partnered with the local polytechnic to create virtual reality video clips to wow its customers considering its premium Bespoke service.

It’s great that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars extends its patronage to nurture young design talent in Nanyang Polytechnic.

This inaugural collaboration produced immersive 360-degree motion graphics video clips to wow customers of the super-luxury brand’s marques, and to impress them with the possibilities of the its bespoke programme.

“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is renowned for Bespoke Luxury design and craftsmanship, and it is a privilege to have this pinnacle company implementing our output. But besides the accomplishment, this project clearly demonstrated processes, pressures and commercial realities that await us in our post-academic life. Thanks to NYP’s collaboration with a real-life global luxury brand, I feel more prepared to enter our workforce in the future,” says student Izz Irfan Sahlan, who worked on one of the selected VR videos.

New arrival: Samsung QLED TVs in Singapore – Q7F, Q8C, Q9F

Samsung Electronics has launched its QLED TV line-up in Singapore, together with the new Samsung Sound+ Soundbar. Pricing below.

The three models in the new QLED TV line-up are the Q7F, Q8C and Q9F.

Samsung’s QLED TV Series was first unveiled at CES 2017 where it won more than 20 awards including four CES Innovation Awards.

Samsung’s new QLED TV series is now in Singapore. The launch was held in Vivocity.

The QLED TVs offer improved colour performance and enhanced Smart TV offerings.

Singtel and Oh!K hosted a visit by Korean superstar Song Seung Heon, who met with fans and Singtel TV subscribers today as part of a promotional tour for upcoming drama, Saimdang.

The annual Anime Festival Asia (AFASG2016) kicked off its three-day experiential showcase today in Singapore.

Attendees and aspiring cosplay enthusiasts can also look forward to meeting celebrity cosplayers from the region this year.

Some new highlights include the inaugural ANiBEATS, a 1-night only after party on 27 November, featuring DJs who blend EDM (electronic dance music) with anisongs (anime songs).

You can find immersive experiences at various experience zones, including a Sword Art Online centric exhibition booth that showcases artwork and animation cuts of all seasons of this beloved series.
