LG has launched the V20 in Singapore, boasting strong multimedia performance for audiophiles and photographers. Available in Singapore (S$998) from 5 November.
The LG V20 uses lightweight aluminum, together with a new silicon-based material – AL6013 metal – which is found in aircraft, sailboats and mountain bikes.
The new LG V20 sports Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Steady Record 2.0, front and rear wide angle cameras.
LG also boasts that It is the world’s first smartphone to come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, featuring the new Google In Apps phone search function.
The LG V20 has a 5.7-inch main IPS Quantum Display and emphasises on multimedia performances. It was launched in Singapore at Bar on 5 in the Orchard Mandarin Hotel.
The LG V series is a premium flagship smartphone line designed to provide users with the best video and audio experience.
One of the more impressive showcases at IFA this year was an OLED tunnel put up by LG, measuring 5m tall, 7.4m wide and 15m in length – and comprising 15m of OLED panels and 450 million pixels.
The awesome OLED tunnel provided a stunning and immersive viewing experience with deep black and vibrant colours.
A total of 216 separate 55-inch curved OLED signage displays were assembled to create the structure comprising 447,897,600 pixels – that’s nearly half a billion – to display a collection of breathtaking scenes including Iceland’s Aurora Borealis, underwater ecosystems and deep space footage.
A video titled “From Black to Black” was produced by LG to include footage that accentuate the lifelike colors and the ability to recreate the miniscule details of life which LG’s OLED technology delivers.
The footage includes the black ocean with effervescent jellyfish and the gentle movement of whales, as well as scenes from deep black space and the brilliant northern lights on a black sky.
The Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Bundle is priced at S$699 and will be available in Singapore from 25 November, 2016.

Sony PlayStation VR will be launched on 13 October in Singapore, with pre-orders beginning from 30 July.
More than 60 PS VR software titles are confirmed to be launched in Asia, and 13 of those titles are developed by local developers.
