The HTC Desire 626 will be available in Singapore from TODAY at S$358 in White Birch and Blue Lagoon with M1, Singtel, StarHub and major retailers.

HTC’s new entry-level Android smartphone, the Desire 626 is now available in Singapore (S$358).
The 5-inch HTC Desire 626 is slightly smaller than the pricier 5.5-inch Desire 826 (S$498) that hit the shelves in Singapore last week.

The HTC Desire 826 dual sim will be available in Singapore from TODAY at S$498 in White Birch and Blue Lagoon with M1, Singtel, StarHub and major retailers.

The mid-range HTC Desire 826 dual sim is useful for frequent travels that needs to slot in a second SIM card using the local network of their destination.
The HTC Desire 826 dual sim is driven by the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 615 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB.

A range of accessories including the HTC Dot View case will also be available for the HTC Desire 826 dual sim.
The phone uses Nano SIM cards and is capable of 4G LTE streaming.
It ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense user interface, on a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display.
The phone is powered by an embedded 2600mAh Li-polymer battery.
The HTC Desire 826 dual sim promises immersive HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio surround sound from your phone.
The smartphone comes with an audiophile-grade headset that is tuned for HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio, offering a cinematic surround sound experience.

HTC was the first phone maker to put dual front-facing stereo speakers on a smartphone.
The HTC Desire 826 dual sim has 13-megapixel cameras on the front and rear, so that selfie lovers can enjoy great image quality for their self-portraits.

The latest flagship model in the HTC One family debuts in Singapore on 2 May, 2015 and is available from M1, Singtel and StarHub for S$1,008. Tech specs below.

The HTC One M9 will be available in dual-tone silver and rose gold, and single-tone gunmetal grey in Singapore (S$1,008) from 2 May 2015 at M1, Singtel, and StarHub. A single-tone gold and dual-tone gold and pink version may be available later.
The HTC One M9 ships with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC Sense 7 and is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core CPU with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory.

Measuring 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61mm and weighing 157g, the M9 is powered by a 2840mAh battery and has a 5-inch display with Full HD 1080p.
The M9 uses Nano SIM and comes with NFC and micro-USB port.
It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with sapphire lens cover and front camera with f/2.0 lens capable of 1080p video recording.
The main camera is capable of shooting 4K video.
The HTC One M9 was first unveiled in March during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

HTC hopes to reinvent mobile photography and imaging with the HTC Desire EYE “double exposure” smartphone, the RE fun camera, EYE Experience imaging software, and enhanced Zoe video editor.
The HTC Desire EYE will be available in Singapore from 27 November at SITEX 2014 at S$728 S$628, through StarHub and M1.

HTC has updated that the price of the HTC Desire EYE in Singapore during SITEX 2014 to S$728 from the S$628 in the original press release.

HTC has announced two new innovative gadgets which I had the chance to preview last week – the RE fun camera and Desire EYE Android phablet – both of which are water proof.

The 5-inch Android HTC One (E8) will be available in Singapore from Saturday, 26 July with SingTel, StarHub, M1 and selected retailers. RRP for 16GB HTC One (E8): S$658.

The HTC One (E8) will be available in Polar White, Electric Crimson and Misty Gray.
The HTC Dot View case for the HTC One (E8) will be available in Grey at S$59.
The HTC One (E8) weighs 145g and measures 146.42 x 70.67 x 9.85 mm.
It is essentially the plastic version of HTC’s flagship HTC One (M8), with a different rear camera and other slight differences.
The smartphone ships with Motion Launch, HTC BoomSound, 5-megapixel front camera and 13MP rear camera. Both cameras support full 1080p HD video recording.
Powered by a 2,600mAh battery, the HTC One (E8) has 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory with expandable microSD storage capacity up to 128GB..

The HTC One Android smartphone will be available in Gold in Singapore from this Saturday, 18 January. Available from all telcos at S$768 (32GB).

The release of the new Gold version of the HTC One coincides with the Chinese New Year festive season.
The Gold makeover adds to the existing colour portfolio of Silver, Black and Red.

Deepavali, or Diwali, is the Hindu festival of lights and is a public holiday in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

This is the signboard at the entrance of my residential estate – wishing Hindu residents a Happy Deepavali. Taken with an HTC One max smartphone – which debuted in Singapore today. The two flare spots at the bottom are due to two spotlights shining on it.
The word “Diwali” is the shortened form of “Deepavali” which literally means “row of lamps”.

The new HTC One family is complete with the new HTC One max. Now there is HTC One mini, HTC One and HTC One max.
The 5.9” Android 4.3 smartphone comes with HTC Sense 5.5 and will be available in Singapore from 2 November at S$1,028.
Update (2 November, 2013):
The HTC One max has just debuted in Singapore in Glacial Silver. The Stealth Black version will be available at a later date.

HTC One max Android smartphone will be available (S$1,028) in Singapore in Glacial Silver from 2 November 2013 at M1, SingTel and StarHub, as well as selected authorised resellers. The Stealth Black version will be available later.
HTC announced the HTC One max today – a super sized smartphone with the features of the HTC One, such as HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound..

In addition to those features, the HTC One max sports a Fingerprint Scan feature and HTC Sense 5.5.
The HTC One max has a 5.9 inch full HD1080p display, and runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, which features a quad-core 1.7 GHz CPU.
With a microSD card slot, the 16GB onboard memory can also be expanded.
Users also enjoy a 50GB of additional free Google Drive online storage for two years.
