Pre-orders for the new Surface Laptop Studio 2 (S$3,569 to S$5,119) and Laptop Go 3 (S$1,199 to S$1,949) from Microsoft have commenced and will hit the shelves in Singapore on 9 November 2023. Prices and configurations below.

Unveiled last month at the Microsoft Surface event, the two new Surface laptops are now available for pre-orders and will be available in Singapore via authorised retailers, Microsoft-authorised stores, and authorised Surface commercial resellers.

Compared to its predecessor, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 is now has 2x more power with 13th Gen Intel Core H-class processors built on the Intel Evo platform, and 2x more graphics performance with the latest NVIDIA laptop GPUs for AI accelerated performance.

The Surface Laptop Go 3 features new colors in Ice Blue, Sage, Sandstone, and Platinum and is bolstered by Windows’ centralised AI assistant, Copilot.

The new Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface laptop Go 3 were announced at the Microsoft Surface event 2023 today, as well as plans for the roll-out of AI-powered Microsoft Copilot.

Microsoft Copilot comprises three main components: Windows 11 Copilot for the PC environment, Microsoft 365 Copilot for content creation in the Microsoft 365 suite of productivity software, as well as web/browser-based Edge/Bing Copilot.

Microsoft Copilot as an everyday AI companion. Copilot will incorporate the context and intelligence of the web, your work data and what you are doing in the moment on your PC to provide better assistance – emphasising privacy and security.

The company boasts that it will be a simple and seamless experience, available in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and in Microsoft’s web browser with Edge and Bing.

Bing and Edge now offer a smarter and more personalised web with features such as personalised answers, Microsoft Shopping, Content Credentials, DALL.E 3 in Bing Image Creator and more.
