The new Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface laptop Go 3 were announced at the Microsoft Surface event 2023 today, as well as plans for the roll-out of AI-powered Microsoft Copilot.
Here’s a quick overview of the major reveals from the event.
Microsoft Copilot as an everyday AI companion. Copilot will incorporate the context and intelligence of the web, your work data and what you are doing in the moment on your PC to provide better assistance – emphasising privacy and security.
The company boasts that it will be a simple and seamless experience, available in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and in Microsoft’s web browser with Edge and Bing.
Bing and Edge now offer a smarter and more personalised web with features such as personalised answers, Microsoft Shopping, Content Credentials, DALL.E 3 in Bing Image Creator and more.
Microsoft 365 Copilot will be generally available to commercial enterprise customers starting November 1 with a more powerful version of Microsoft 365 Chat, new capabilities for Copilot in Outlook, Excel, Loop, OneNote, OneDrive and Word.
Bing Chat Enterprise will also get a few upgrades, including support for multimodal visual search and Image Creator now available in the Microsoft Edge mobile app.
New Windows 11 Update will be available starting September 26.
With over 150 new features, the next Windows 11 update will bring the power of Copilot and new AI powered experiences to apps like Paint, Photos, Clipchamp and more right to your Windows PC.
Additionally, two new powerful and portable Surface devices will be available in Singapore – the Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Laptop Go 3.
