The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) Full View 6″ dual-camera smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 CPU and 5000mAh battery with massive stamina for longer gaming, browsing and calls. Price: S$348.
The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a 180g metal body with diamond-cut edges and 2.5D-curved display glass, and is available in two finishes: Deepsea Black and Meteor Silver.
The super high-capacity 5000mAh battery of the ZenFone Max Pro (M1) promises up to 48hrs non-stop use, 42hrs talk time, 28hrs browsing, 199hrs audio playback, and 20hrs video playback.
Its dual rear cameras comprises a 13-megapixel main camera with up to F2.0 aperture, and a 5MP secondary camera for Bokeh effects in Portrait mode.

ASUS has launched in Singapore its two latest Android smartphones. Both the ZenFone Zoom (S$659, sold exclusively with StarHub) and the ZenFone Max (S$249) will be available in Singapore from 10 March. Specs & StarHub price plans below.
“Our customers are discovering creative ways to express themselves with their smartphone cameras and photography apps, from capturing candid moments to sharing selfies and images with family and friends. We are happy to partner ASUS to exclusively bring in the ZenFone Zoom which will be welcome by many photography enthusiasts,” said Wang Li-Na, Head of Product & Marketing, StarHub. The two new smartphones from ASUS are targeted at different types of consumers looking for different strengths in their handsets.
I tried out the ASUS ZenFone Zoom a few weeks prior to its launch in Singapore and the 3x optical zoom in the camera certainly gives it the advantage over regular smartphones relying on digital zoom.

ASUS boasts that the ZenFone 2 is “the world’s first 4GB RAM smartphone running on a 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor with ultra-fast 4G/LTE and fast-charge 3,000mAh battery for powerful all-round performance”.
Prices range from S$249 to S$499. Pre-order now with collection on 18 April.
Update (18 April, 2015):
The 2GB versions of the ZenFone 2 are now available in Singapore, the first country in Southeast Asia to start selling it.
The 4GB RAM versions (with 32GB and 64GB memory) will be available in Singapore from 16 May.
The 32GB model will be available at all ASUS authorised retailers, ASUS brand stores, ASUS online store, M1 and StarHub shops; while the 64GB model will be available at Singtel.
The ZenFone 2 (ZE500CL, ZE550ML) models sport a matte finishing, available in Black, White and Red, while the ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) encompasses a stunning aluminium hairline metallic finishing available in Black, Gold, Red and Silver.
Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to launch the new ASUS flagship smartphone.

The highly-affordable 5-inch Android 4.4 smartphone will be priced at S$249 (1GB RAM, 8GB memory), S$269 (2GB RAM, 8GB memory) and S$299 (2GB RAM, 16GB memory).
The ZenFone 5 LTE will be available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red and Champagne Gold colours (Champagne Gold will be available for only 16GB model). The purple colour shown above is not available in Singapore.
ASUS officially launched its ZenFone 5 LTE in Singapore today at Suntec Convention Centre.
The ZenFone 5 LTE will be available at all ASUS brand stores, Best Denki, Challenger and Newstead stores on 30 August.
It will also be available at the ASUS Official Online Store and Lazada.
All three major mobile operators – M1, SingTel and StarHub – will offer the ZenFone 5 LTE with their respective LTE data plans.
What catches the attention is the affordable price tag. ASUS boasts that the sub-S$300 phone gives consumers the best value-for-money market.
And I can believe that.
Shipping with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, the phone is smooth and responsive, and more than enough for what most people use their smartphones for – making calls, sending messages, taking photos, checking social media status, and surfing the Web.

The new ASUS ZenFone 6 will be available at S$329 from today at ASUS brand stores and ASUS Official Online Store. All three local telcos (M1, SingTel and StarHub) will be offering the phone with data bundles.
The ASUS ZenFone 6 will be in 3 colours – Charcoal Black, Pearl White and Cherry Red.
With the 6-inch HD (1280 x 720) screen, the ZenFone 6 is the big brother of the ZenFone series.
It runs on an Intel Atom Z2580 processor running at 2.0GHz, and ships with Android Jelly Bean 4.3 (upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat) with ASUS ZenUI.

The ZenFone 6 is now offered at a special promotion price of S$299 with free flip cover and complimentary 24-hours delivery service on the ASUS Official Online Store.
The ZenFone 6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with image stabilisation and F/2.0 lens, as well as a 2MP front camera (F/2.8).
Weighing 196g and measuring 166.9 x 84.3 x 5.5~9.9 mm, the phablet is powered by an internal 3300 mAh polymer battery.
The ZenFone 6 comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and MicroSD card support up to 64GB. It can accomodate two Micro-SIM cards.
