Samsung unveiled its 2013 Smart TV and digital AV lineup (with prices) in Singapore today, at its roadshow in Vivocity.

A peek into the future. Samsung also showed off the massive 85-inch S9 UHD TV during the launch. The Ultra High Definition Smart TV is pivoted in a floor-mounted frame that also houses the audio speakers and camera that enables Xbox Kinetic-like remote gesture control of the TV.
Samsung’s 2013 Smart TVs feature a revamped Smart Hub that comprises three panels: Apps; Photos, Videos & Music; Social.
For the more high-end F7500, F8000 and F8500, Advanced Smart Interaction allows viewers to use everyday language and casual gestures to find content or command and control the TV.
SmartView allows users to move their content seamlessly between devices in real-time while AllShare connects the TV to compatible mobile devices wirelessly and creates a smart centre for media and whole-home automation.
The display on compatible Samsung GALAXY tablets and phones can also be mirrored onto the TVs for lean-back viewing comfort.
Existing owners of Samsung’s 2012 flagship Premium TVs (from ES7500 upwards) are not left out.
Slotting in an Evolution Kit offers both software and hardware updates that include access to the 2013 Smart Hub and other Smart features, and upgrades the TV’s dual-core processor to quad-core, resulting in faster internal processing speeds.
