Huawei held a special sneak preview for select media on some of the health and fitness wearables that they plan to launch later this month.
The new Huawei Watch GT3 Pro in Titanium (Left) and Ceramic White.
The wearables featured during the briefing included the following.
- Huawei Watch GT3 Pro
- Huawei Band 7
- Huawei Watch Fit 2
- Huawei Watch D
Huawei Watch Fit 2, Active Edition in Isle Blue Silicone Strap.
The new products covered a large spectrum of people ranging from those who just want some basic health data, to fitness enthusiasts who want in-depth data to hone their training; as well as the health conscious who want to measure detailed data about their health, such as blood pressure and heartbeat characteristics.
Later in the month, Huawei is expected to officially launch these devices together with additional products such as the Huawei Mate Xs 2 folding phablet and the Huawei S-Tag tagging accessory.

Barely two weeks after MSI unveiled its latest gaming and creator laptops for CES, the company brought the 12th Generation machines to Singapore for a sneak preview to a select crowd.
The Creator series for content creators is one of the laptops in MSI’s CES lineups.

In addition to the latest hardware, the company is leveraging its MSI Center software with the intention of creating the smartest laptops ever.
This Pulse GL66 gaming laptop is one was one of the gaming laptops showcased as part of the MSI‘s 12th Gen lineup unveiled during CES2022.
MSI Smart Auto will auto switch the suitable modes depending on usage, while Ambient Silent AI will detect ambient noise level (dB) to adjust the fan speed, providing better performance with a relatively silent fan.

Following the announcement of The Freestyle at CES 2022 less than a week ago, Samsung Electronics shipped a unit of The Freestyle to Singapore for a sneak preview for Singapore media.
The Freestyle is a 100-inch smart TV in disguise and includes a projector, speaker and ambient light rolled into one.
Samsung describes The Freestyle a portable projector, smart speaker and lighting device all rolled into one.
To me, it’s essentially a 100-inch smart-TV rolled into a lightweight (830g) and portable “canister” that you can carry around to a BBQ or a hotel staycation.
Driven by Samsung’s Tizen OS and controlled by a remote control, it doesn’t have an in-built battery so you’ll either need access to a wall outlet, or a USB-PD battery bank that can put out 20V and 50W.
So without having to lug a 100-inch TV around, you can just fish out The Freestyle, plug it (USB-C port) into a power source – in front of a flat surface (which can be a wall or the ceiling) – and you’re in business … you have effectively a 100-inch smart TV in front of you to stream content from the Web.
There is an in-built 360-degree speaker included.

Hyundai Singapore showcased the new 2021 Avante 1.6 sports sedan in its Komoco showroom in Singapore. The car has already been homologated in Singapore and should be in by November 2020.
Two trims are available in Singapore: Avante 1.6 “S”, Avante 1.6 “Elite”.
The theme for Hyundai’s design for the 2021 Avante is “Sensuous Sportiness”.
“Parametric Dynamics” is the phrase Hyundai designers use to describe the dramatic look of the all-new 2021 Hyundai Avante 1.6.

The design departs from traditional smooth surfaces to use bold lines and geometric shapes to trigger a reaction in the beholder.

Hyundai Motor is showing a preview of its 2021 Elantra at a world premiere event in Hollywood. Teaser video below.

Komoco Motors has brought in the new Avante (Singapore & Korean name for the Elantra) to Singapore for a preview in its showroom.
The upcoming seventh-generation Elantra features an edgy and aggressive look based on parametric shapes and textures, which reflects Hyundai’s new design identity.
The world premier press conference will take place at 7 p.m. PT on Mar. 17, at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood, Calif. and will be livestreamed around the world.
The Elantra is Hyundai’s bestselling car globally, with more than 13.8 million Elantra/Avante models sold since its introduction in 1990.
The ‘Immersive Cocoon’ interior layout creates a driver-focused user experience.
The new Elantra returns to its sport sedan roots with a ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design theme.
The new vehicle platform offers a sporty four-door-coupe look with longer, lower and wider proportions.

Canon ushers in the Lunar New Year in Singapore with an early Lohei lunch.
Canon Singapore hosted the annual Lohei lunch with media at Aura restaurant at the National Gallery Singapore.
To the left of the menu in the cover photo above, you can see the PowerShot SX430 IS.
The immediate reaction upon lifting up the camera is that it is incredibly light.
Preview of the new IXUS 190 (left) & PowerShot SX430 IS. These were part of 4 new compact cameras Canon has just unveiled. Prices & availability TBA.
So light that I thought it was a plastic prototype with nothing inside.
But it’s a fully functional superzoom with 45x optical zoom going from 24 to 1080mm.
