The unlimited mobile data on demand that Circles.Life is offering is free from any contract and can be activated anytime by simply turning it on in the mobile dashboard within the CirclesCare app.
Unlimited outgoing calls
All Circles.Life basic plans currently come with 100 free minutes of talktime.
Now, they have a new option of getting unlimited local outgoing calls by adding S$16 per month.
Added to the base plan of S$28 and the S$2 per month free incoming calls value added service, this creates an option to get 6 GB of data and unlimited incoming and outgoing calls for S$46 per month.
Circles.Life customers customers are eligible to use the “Unlimited Data on Demand” without subscribing to the company’s existing 20GB for S$20 data upgrade.
Note that fair use policy applies, so speeds will be “managed” after 100GB of usage per month, based on the mobile number.
For WhatsApp Passport, customers can pay S$1 per day to enjoy unlimited data usage for WhatsApp messaging while roaming with partner networks in over 18 countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, USA, India and the UK.
Note that this is only for messaging – including sending of photos and videos – but does not include WhatsApp voice calls.

Canon launched globally two new entry interchangeable lens cameras (EOS M50 & EOS 1500D) and an Auto Intelligent flash 470EX-AI. Prices & availability TBA.
The Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera will be available in three kit options: EF-M15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM kit, EF-M15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM + EF-M55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM kit and body only.
The new 24.1-megapixel EOS M50 is the entry-level camera for Canon’s line-up of mirrorless cameras.
The first Canon camera to be equipped with the new DIGIC 8 image processor the EOS M50 ships with 4K movie shooting ability and an improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF.

The mid-range “dual selfie” camera smartphone will hit Singapore shelves on 26 February. The S$598 Xperia XA2 Ultra are available in Black, Blue or Gold.
Sony first announced the Xperia XA2 Ultra at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2018.
Engineered specifically for selfies, the Xperia XA2 Ultra ships with two front cameras: a 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, and a 8MP 120° super wide-angle camera.
Together with the Smart Selfie Flash, the cameras promises clear shots regardless of lighting or environment and accomodate more friends and and the surrounding into selfies.
An optional accessory for the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra is the Style Cover Stand that comes in Black or Grey.
The rear camera has 23 megapixels, and a large 1/2.3” Exmor RSTM for mobile sensor that is capable of ISO 12800 sensitivity for better low-light photography.

Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd. (TMLS) is introducing a new functionality to their TOMI chatbot – helping users find its nearest panel clinic in three steps.
Users previously had to refer to an online directory that listed all 539 network clinics.
The update will enable users to conveniently find suitable TMLS panel clinics within their designated search area.

Epson boasts that the EH-LS100 is the world’s first ultra-short throw 3LCD laser home theatre projector. Available in Singapore now at S$4,688.
Epson’s first ultra-short throw laser projector for homes, the ultra-short throw design of the EH-LS100 allows it to project at extremely close distances to a wall without the need for mounting on the ceiling, enabling easy installation and a seamless integration with the home décor.
Projecting screen sizes ranging from 70 to 130 inches, the EH-LS100 offers WUXGA full HD resolution with brightness levels of 4,000 lumens of both white and colour brightness, delivering image performance in a variety of lighting conditions.
Deep blacks and brilliant colours are projected at a high contrast ratio of up to 2,500,000:1 for an immersive and vivid home theatre experience.
The Epson EH-LS100 has built-in 16-watt speakers so there’s no need to connect to an amplifier or separate speakers.
With its ultra-short throw capability, EH-LS100 is able to achieve a 100-inch projection with a placement of just 26cm away from the wall, overcoming the constraints of distance and space in home projection environments.
