Launched online on 14 April, the 5G-capable OnePlus 8 was launched alongside the slightly bigger and heftier OnePlus 8 Pro.

After that, the two phones can be purchased exclusively from Lazada for another two weeks from 8 May.

The OnePlus 8 ships with the top end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and is capable of taking high quality photos with the four cameras onboard.
The rear cameras comprise a 48-megapixel main camera with the formidable Sony IMX586 sensor, a 2-MP macro lens and a 16-MP ultra wide angle lens.
There is no optical zoom.
The front camera is the 16-MP camera with Sony IMX471 sensor with electronic image stabiliser.
I love the Interstellar Glow design on the back of the OnePlus 8, with iridescent, changing colours.
