Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac is now ready for macOS Catalina (10.15) and moves to Apple Metal API with support for DirectX 11 for better speed and graphics for users. Prices below.

D-Link’s new EXO series includes smart mesh router DIR-2660 (AC2600) and DIR-1360 (AC1300) as well as mesh extender DRA-2060 (AC2000) and DRA-1360 (AC1300).
Four new smart mesh routers and extenders in the new EXO series from D-Link for a smart mesh Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy Note10 (6.8”) & Note 10+ (6.3”) will hit the shelves on 23 August with enhanced S Pen and “pro-grade” camera.
The Note10 & Note 10+ were unveiled this morning during Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2019 in New York on 7 August at 4pm EDT.
The Galaxy Note10 starts at US$950 while the Note10+ starts at US$1,100, slightly more expensive than the S10 smartphone which ranges between US$900 to US$1,000.
First looks and hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note10 (S$1,398) and Galaxy Note10+ (S$1,598/S$1,898 for 256GB/512GB respectively) which will be available in Singapore from 24 August, 2019.
The previous Note9 has a 6.4-inch display while the current S10 is around the same size as the 6.3” Note10 with slightly less screen size.
The new phablets charge via a USB-C port which doubles up as an audio port as the 3.5mm headphone jack is gone.
Samsung first introduced the Galaxy Note series 8 years ago in 2011 – its differentiators were its large size and the stylus pen.
The latest iteration is the ninth, because Samsung skipped Note 6 altogether to align its numbering with its other flagship line, the S series of smartphones.
Samsung typically launches the S series in February and the Note series in late summer.
The Note10 has four cameras (1 front and 3 rear) – the three rear cameras comprising a 16MP ultra wide (123°), a 12MP wide-angle (77°) and a 12MPtelephoto (45°).
The front camera has 10 megapixels at 80° field of view.
The Note10+ has one extra rear camera (1 front and 4 rear) – the DepthVision camera.
The other cameras are the same in both versions.

First opened in 1887 and declared a National Monument by the government on its centennial, the grand old dame has reopened on 1 August after an extensive 2-year restoration that began in 2017.

Had a chance to walk through the charming grand dame of 1887 vintage on the Sunday prior to its reopening before the hordes descended.
The hotel now offers 115 suites in nine categories, including the Grand Hotel Suites and Presidential Suites.
The Long Bar – where the Singapore Sling cocktail was invented – has also been refreshed.
At 132 years old, the newly reopened Raffles Hotel has certainly seen a large part of Singapore’s 200-year old history after founder Sir Stamford Raffles colonised the island. This statue of Raffles sits in the Raffles Arcade and will observe the progress of the nation going forward into the next 200 years.
A night at the hotel ranges from slightly less than S$1,000 for its cheapest suite, to almost S$12,000 for one night in a two-bed President Suite.
