The Linksys Max-Stream AC1900 MU-MIMO Gigabit Wi-Fi Router (EA7500) will launch at Challenger, Hachi.Tech and the PC Show on 2 June 2016 at an SRP of S$329.99. Promotions and specs below.
The next-gen EA7500 Wi-Fi AC1900 Router can connect multiple devices to a network, including multiple 4K and HD video streams simultaneously.
The new Linksys AC1900 MU-MIMO router leverages the 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology.
“If you have or are planning to purchase a 4K TV you will need a Max-Stream router to ensure you have a seamless 4K online streaming experience,” said Jaimohan Thampi, head of Linksys BU, International Markets.
The technology helps ensure uninterrupted Wi-Fi connectivity to multiple devices in the home and functions as if multiple devices have their own dedicated router.
With MU-MIMO, the whole household can enjoy 4K and HD TV streaming to multiple devices as well as play video games, listen to music, check email, shop, and more – all at the same time.
Perfect for families with multiple users with their own streaming devices, the Max-Stream AC1900 leverages MU-MIMO functionality which helps make Wi-Fi networks more efficient when delivering high bandwidth 4K streams to multiple devices at the same time.

The Linksys Max-Stream EA7500 will be available at the PC Show at an introductory offer of $299. This special deal will also be available for all Challenger Value Club Members.

LG has launched its latest flagship smartphone in Singapore. You can purchase additional modules that can be plugged into the phone to enhance its music, camera handling and other functionalities.

The LG G5 will be available in Singapore on 16 April, 2016, retailing at S$988.
The LG G5 (S$988) comes in titan, pink and gold colours, and will be available at all M1, Singtel, StarHub and authorized LG Mobile retailers.
The LG G5 (S$988) itself comes in a sleek, metal uni-body featuring a Slide-out Battery that can be replaced by other plug-in modules.

These plug-in modules include the LG CAM Plus (a camera grip with battery and control buttons) and LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY (a DAC adaptor).

More than 300 exhibitors from 20 countries, including Southeast Asia will unveil latest innovations to the rapidly growing Asian marketplace.

As of today – six weeks before CES Asia™ returns to Shanghai – more than 17,000 high-level industry professionals from more than 70 countries have already registered to attend.
Registration numbers are up 40 percent over the same period in 2015, the event’s inaugural year.
More than 30,000 attendees are expected to visit CES Asia 2016, which will take up 40,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
Currently, 250 companies representing 20 countries, have already signed up to exhibit at the second-annual CES Asia™ 2016 as it returns to Shanghai May 11-13 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Customers who sign up for or renew their StarHub 4G plans, can enjoy the new 3GB data upsize at promotional monthly rate of only $3. Usual monthly rate of $6 will apply for customers who sign up from 1 April.

StarHub is giving IT Show 2016 a miss
Unlike M1, MyRepublic and Singtel, StarHub is not participating in IT Show 2016.
It is instead having a parallel online promotion from 10 – 18 March at www.starhub.com/big-sale.
Consumers can look for deals such as S$200 phone discounts with free delivery and free six-month subscription to multi-service HomeHub Go and selected broadband plans.
Customers who prefer physical stores, can visit any of StarHub’s 48 retail outlets across the island.
With the new offer, subscribers of StarHub’s “4G 3” plan can enjoy 6GB data bundle at a slightly increased monthly subscription rate of S$45.90.
Previously, a “4G 6” subscription plan would have set consumers back S$102.90 every month, although the plan does offer more local talktime and SMS.
StarHub will reach out to customers who signed up for one of these StarHub 4G plans on 10 March and offer them this data upsize option.
From tomorrow, customers can sign up for this offer at any of the 48 StarHub retail outlets across the island.

Following Singtel’s announcement of its DataX2 offer yesterday, M1 also offers Upsized Data for its postpaid customers at S$5.90; as well as two new SIM-only plans, and increased data for the existing SIM-only plans. StarHub is expected to follow suit with their data-upsize offer.
M1 offers Upsized Data for its postpaid subscribers. Upsized Data is available only at point of new line sign-up or re-contract on eligible Data Bundled mobile plans with 2-year handset contract. Here’s a summary of M1’s promotions:
- Two new SIM-only plans – mySIM+ 15 and mySIM+ 20.
- Data bundles enhanced for current SIM-only plans of up to 20GB.
- S$5.90 Upsized Data gives smartphone plan users up to 12GB extra.
M1, which introduced its SIM-only plans last July, is adding two new SIM-only plans – the mySIM+ 15 and mySIM+ 20.
The S$20 per month mySIM+ 20 comes with a data bundle of 4GB, 150 minutes of calls and 800 SMS/MMS.
For S$15, the mySIM+ 15 offers 1GB data, 100 minutes of calls and 600 SMS/MMS.
