New arrival: Subaru launches EyeSight Driver Assist Technology

At the Singapore Motorshow 2018, Subaru launches EyeSight Driver Assist Technology to enhances safety for its cars.

Motor Image, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles across nine countries in Asia, today launched Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology at the Singapore Motorshow 2018.

The new technology will complement Subaru’s other core technologies such as the Boxer Engine, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Subaru Global Platform.

EyeSight is a driving support system that uses a range of functions to assist the driver, providing a safer and comfortable driving experience.

Adding confidence to every trip, EyeSight uses stereo cameras to identify the surrounding vehicles, obstacles, traffic lanes and other items.

Event: Singapore Motorshow 2018 at Suntec (11-14 January)

Singapore Motorshow 2018 is in town for four days from 11-14 January at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, Levels 3 & 4. Tickets at S$6 each. Free for children below 120cm.

More than 170 cars will be on display from more than 25 automotive brands, with 26 new automotive launches during the show.

New car models include those from Audi, BMW, Citroёn, Honda, Hyundai, INFINITI, ISUZU, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Maxus, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Peugeot, Porsche, SEAT, Subaru, Volkswagen and Volvo.

Rolls-Royce partners Nanyang Polytechnic for VR experience

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars partnered with the local polytechnic to create virtual reality video clips to wow its customers considering its premium Bespoke service.

It’s great that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars extends its patronage to nurture young design talent in Nanyang Polytechnic.

This inaugural collaboration produced immersive 360-degree motion graphics video clips to wow customers of the super-luxury brand’s marques, and to impress them with the possibilities of the its bespoke programme.

“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is renowned for Bespoke Luxury design and craftsmanship, and it is a privilege to have this pinnacle company implementing our output. But besides the accomplishment, this project clearly demonstrated processes, pressures and commercial realities that await us in our post-academic life. Thanks to NYP’s collaboration with a real-life global luxury brand, I feel more prepared to enter our workforce in the future,” says student Izz Irfan Sahlan, who worked on one of the selected VR videos.
