Event forecast: Canon PhotoMarathon XV Singapore 2017

The annual photography competition will take place on Saturday, 23 September, 2017 at the Suntec City Convention & Exhibition Centre 401-402. Registration fee: S$15.

Registration is open for Canon PhotoMarathon XV 2017 in Singapore.

Registration is now open for the biggest photography event in Singapore. This is the 15th installment of the competition.

Participants have to submit photos for three themes in nine hours. Last year’s winning photos can be viewed here.

This photo is really interesting.

“Those curious eyes just adds to the frame!!” says @artbyradha (artist) via Instagram.

The window serves as a picture frame so it looks like “there’s a picture within a picture”.

And to the people in the photo, the photographer is also a picture within a picture.

The window serves as the picture frame from both sides.

Guess who was the jogger in this photo?

It’s none other than the photographer himself!

When I chatted with Mark about the photo, he shared that he frequently went to that bridge to take photos – so when the third theme was announced, he immediately formed this image in his mind.
