More details from the press release below.

ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, has today launched its latest range of products for everyday consumers, designed to protect against the ever-expanding threats from the internet including data theft, malware and viruses.

With ransomware, malware attacks and cyber-threats becoming increasingly sophisticated and harmful, it is vital that consumers take appropriate steps to protect themselves with the highest levels of internet security.

Built using three decades of progress in IT security, the flagship products provide protection beyond dimension of operating system.

Its new layer of security is active before Windows starts running and seeks for any threat planted in the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), very often misused by cyber criminals to compromise its various components in order to gain access to victim’s data.

The new line is ideal for connected households with a feature that keeps all the smart devices connected to the home network safe at one place, fully embracing the Internet of Things trend.

“We recognise the importance of prevention – identifying and removing threats before they strike. This is why our full suite of products for 2018 include Unified Extensible Firmware Interface Scanners, or UEFI scanners, to detect and remove threats that potentially launch before an operating system even starts,” said Parvinder Walia, Sales and Marketing Director at ESET, Asia Pacific.

Lastly, the re-invented license manager keeps users worry free, as all important data are available with one click at my.eset.com.

The advanced suite of products, which include ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security and ESET Smart Security Premium, merges low impact on system resources and renowned high performance with the best mix of detection, speed and usability.

Built to run unnoticed in the background, ESET security solutions deliver ultra-fast scanning with an extremely low system footprint, which means customers never have to compromise fast performance for effective protection again.

For customers purchasing a full license, ESET automatically provides technical assistance, in the relevant local language, with the removal of malware that is not automatically cleaned by the product but which requires manual intervention by the user.
