The launch event will be held simultaneously in London and New York – and is widely believed to be for the launch of the M7 (also possibly to be named HTC One).

Invitations have been sent out for the HTC launch event in London and New York.
Stay tuned to the webcast URL which I’ll be posting here so you can follow it live.

Although the Taiwanese smartphone maker is not revealing anything beyond the invitation, rumours position the M7 as the next flagship smartphone for HTC – replacing the existing flagship HTC One X that was launched around the same time last year during MWC.
The M7 is rumoured to have a Full HD 1920×1080 4.7-inch display, with a pixel density of 468ppi.
It is expected to sport HTC’s Sense 5.0 user-interface, run on Andorid 4.2 Jelly Bean, and come equipped with a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor.
The M7 is also rumoured to come with 32GB internal storage (with no microSD card slot), 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera for video calls.
This launch event is only a week prior to the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona (25-28 February) where HTC traditionally unveils its new flagship smartphones.
