Singapore doctors launch healthcare mobile platform to put patients’ needs at the center of an ecosystem that spans a range of services from cradle to grave – literally.

The iOS/Android MaNaDr app can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store & Google Play Store.
The MaNaDr platform is a holistic healthcare ecosystem that connects patients, families, and friends, to a trusted network of doctors and other healthcare providers.
These providers include major pharmaceutical companies and key paramedical service providers such as Amgen, MundiPharma, OmniMed Healthcare (HomeCare), QuestLab etc.
Soft launched slightly more than a year ago, the concept has gained traction with the enrollment of 500 private clinics and 600 doctors (general practitioners, dentists & specialists) in Singapore and Australia serving a million patients through its MaNaDr app.
The growing patient database will enable big data analytics that empower doctors to track a patient’s condition to offer pre-emptive and pro-active healthcare.

MaNaDr mobile healthcare platform is owned by Mobile Health Pte Ltd (“Mobile Health”), a company set up by a group of Singapore doctors to harness the power of technology to make life-long, healthcare more affordable and accessible to all.
MaNaDr has secured over S$10 million seed funding and is in talks with several large funds and investors for Series funding.
It is ready to grow globally, with key trademarks filed in over 50 countries, and targets to be a medtech unicorn in three to five years.
The features currently launched include mobile appointment, Tele-Consult (both video call and text chat), real time smart newsfeed which provide timely alerts, disease outbreaks as well as patient education.
There is also a doctor’s discussion forum focusing on drugs and major diseases of interest such as Diabetes and Osteoporosis
Also included is ManaPharma, a service that offers bulk purchase on behalf of more than 50% of the GPs in Singapore to date.
The next phase of the MaNaDr platform will be launched in the coming months, with additional features below.
- eHomecare, a service that lets patients request for a qualified medical professional such as a doctor or nurse to care for them at home
- eTests (eHealthScreening) will allow patients to pre-order customised tests from their trusted doctors that best suit their gender, age and disease profiles and have the results vetted and approved by the doctors before being pushed to their mobile devices.
- eSecond Opinion, which allows overseas patients/doctors to tap on the expertise of Singapore specialists for a second opinion and vice versa.
Mobile Health, which has its key trademarks filed in over 50 countries, will introduce MaNaDr in Australia, India, Malaysia and Indonesia over the course of the next year.
“Eventually, we want MaNaDr to be a global, vibrant, online community, with everyone onboard for affordable and accessible medical and healthcare services. They can consult a doctor, buy their medicine, and find out which brand of health product is most trustable. Big data will kick in and allow us to predict patient conditions and proactively treat a patient,” Dr Siaw said.
The MaNaDr launch comes amidst the Government’s medtech initiatives to make healthcare and medical more accessible to all Singaporeans.
Besides the National Electronic Health Record (“NEHR”) project to make patient records easily accessible to all public healthcare institutions, other government initiatives include the plans to improve productivity in the healthcare sector.
These initiatives aim to help patients navigate the healthcare system more efficiently, and empower patients, caregivers and volunteers to self-serve and self-care.
General practitioners (“GP”) will be encouraged to join Primary Care Networks, where the GPs will be included in a virtual group that will allow doctors to pool resources together, to help them manage patients with chronic medical conditions better.
