The new flagship robot vacuum mop from Ecovacs is now available in Singapore at Courts and the Ecovacs official online stores on Lazada and Shopee. The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni retails for S$1,699.
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni boasts a powerful suction power of up to 8000Pa and a 6400mAh lithium battery.
Departing from the normal round shape of robot vacuums on the market, the Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni has a square shape design with rounded corners, allowing the brush to reach further into corners (by 30mm) to clean better.
Other similarly-shaped robot vacuums on the market include the iRobot Roomba s9+ (with two square corners on one half and semi-circular shape on the other half) and the LG Hom-Bot.

As with the flagship models of other robot vacuum brands, the docking station – called the OMNI station – auto-refills the water tank and auto-washes (with 55°C hot water) the mop cloths on the robot vacuum at intervals during cleaning.
“The DEEBOT X2 OMNI is a clear indication of our commitment to continuous innovation to address the needs of modern homes and home dwellers. With its superior performance, advanced features, and intelligent technology, the DEEBOT X2 OMNI simplifies the cleaning experience, making every day cleaning intelligent, effortless, and effective,” said Chris Ma, Regional Manager at ECOVACS.
After the cleaning is completed, the OMNI station auto-empties dirt and dust from the dustbin in the robot vacuum into the dust bag in the station, and dries the mop cloths with hot air after washing them.
Mopping wise, its OZMO Turbo 2.0 Rotating Mopping System has an auto-lift feature that can raise the mops by 15mm to avoid “mopping” carpets and to prevent dirtied mops from staining previously cleaned surfaces when the robot is on its way back to the docking station to wash the mop cloths.
The Deebot X2 Omni has the ability to ascend by up to 22mm to overcome thresholds and bumpy or uneven surfaces along its path.
For navigation, the TrueMapping 3.0 in the Deebot X2 Omni uses a LiDAR sensor with a 210-degree field of view.
It uses an AI-based AIVI 3D 2.0 and RGBD sensor to identify and recognise ground barriers and furniture for obstacle-avoidance.
The YIKO 2.0 voice assistant enables the Deebot X2 Omni to be controlled by voice, in addition to using the app to control the robot.

The clean water tank still needs to be refilled and the dirty water tank needs to be emptied – if only these could be automated, then it’ll truly become completely independent.
Chris Ma (Ecovacs regional manager) shared with me that Ecovacs is already working on that and we can expect shortly a product which can be installed with plumbing to enable exactly what you described. So keep your fingers crossed!
Really?! Now that would be something! I’ll be looking forward.
