Nokia’s entry to the phablet bandwagon arrives in Singapore in the form of the 6-inch Lumia 1520 (S$999) and Lumia 1320 (price TBA). It also launched the more accessibly-priced 4-inch Lumia 525 (S$249).

Both the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 525 will be available on 14 December while the Lumia 1320 will only be able in January 2014.
Pre-orders
Nokia is already accepting pre-orders in Singapore for the Lumia 1520 at Nokia Stores and Nokia Solutions Partners.
All three local operators will be retailing the device bundled with data plans.
All three devices come with the Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia Black update.
The two large 6-inch phablets feature the latest software advancements for Windows Phone, and is suitable for both personal entertainment and productivity.
The increased screen real estate has enabled a new third column of tiles on the home screen so that users can directly access and see more updates from the live tiles of apps on the home screen.
The Lumia 1520 will be available in four colours – yellow, white, black and glossy red.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320 ships with Microsoft Office include so users can view and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the move, with up to 7GB of free and secure cloud storage via SkyDrive.
The Lumia 1520 has a 1080p full HD display for its 6-inch screen, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also records full HD video.
The more affordable Lumia 1320 has a 720p display on its 6-inch screen and will be available in January 2014 (price TBA).
The Lumia 525 is a variant of the successful Lumia 520 and is priced accessibly at only S$249.
However, it offers many of the higher-end features from the premium Lumia smartphones – including maps and navigation from HERE, as well as free music streaming from Nokia MixRadio.
The Lumia 1320 will be available in four colours – orange, yellow, white, and black.
Popular apps that are already available for download include Vine, Instagram beta, Zinio, HERE Transit, Waze, Nokia MixRadio.
The Lumia 525 will be available in gloss orange, white, yellow and matte black and with changeable shells.
Other apps that will be available later include 24 Reader, Sophie Lens HD and CamScanner.

The Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 were first unveiled during Nokia World in Abu Dhabi in October.
Nokia had also unveiled its first tablet – the Windows-based Lumia 2520, as well as the more affordable Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 smartphones.
So far, only the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 has been introduced in Singapore.
