Belkin makes reliable and well-built accessories that help users get the most out of their gadgets and devices.
Living in the digital age, we are equipped with many electronic devices that enable us to get work done and enjoy our lives.
These range from smartphones which help us stay in touch, to computers which help us get work done, and tablets that provide entertainment and productivity on the go.
When it comes to accessories, Belkin is the go-to brand for us in tech4tea.com, not only because of the added functionality these accessories add to the devices they are connected to, but equally important is their quality of manufacture.
It is therefore the pleasure of tech4tea.com to bestow the “Best Accessories Brand of 2022” award to Belkin as part of our annual “Best-in-Class” awards.
The Achilles heel of these gadgets is always the limitations in their battery capacities to keep them powered up for as long as possible.
At the same time, there is the desire to multiply the usefulness of each device by enabling it to be connected to other devices and peripherals.
This is where the IT accessories that Belkin makes come in most useful – whether it’s for quick and safe charging of devices, or connection hubs to expand the connectivity of these devices.
And whether it’s for work from home/office, or for mobile warriors on the go.
We’ve all heard of horror stories about accessories which breakdown after a short period of use – or worse: how they can damage the devices they are connected to.
At tech4tea.com, our experience with Belkin has been that they simply work out of the box and last a lifetime.
And their chargers come with Belkin’s Connected Equipment Warranty which covers equipment that is connected to a Belkin charging accessory.
So if your device is damaged by an electrical charge while properly connected to the brand’s wireless charger, Belkin will repair or replace the damaged device up to a value of US$2,500!
How’s that for peace of mind.
Four of My Favourite Accessories
Here are four accessories from Belkin that I use day-in day-out whether in the office or out travelling.
- Belkin BoostCharge Pro 4-Port GaN Charger 108W
- Belkin BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W
- Belkin Connect USB-C 11-in-1 Multiport Dock
- Belkin Connect USB-C 7-in-1 Multiport Hub Adapter
Belkin BoostCharge Pro 4-Port GaN Charger 108W
This is the indispensable workhorse for my work-from-home setup.
It has FOUR ports to charge up to four devices SIMULTANEOUSLY, including a port that can pump a whopping 96W to charge an Apple MacBook Pro from 0-50% in 39 minutes.
The charger includes 2x USB-C and 2x USB-A ports to power a laptop and three additional devices, using USB-C PD and GaN technologies to provide a high-powered and efficient charge.
Belkin BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W
This is what I bring on the road because of its compactness.
Able also to charge a MacBook Pro, the powerful charger is able to charge the latest iPhone and Samsung phones from 0-50% in slightly less than half an hour.
Access up to 65W of power when using a single port or up to 45W of power from the top port and up to 20W from the bottom port when using both.
It easily fits in a pocket or a bag, making it the ideal charger for traveling or when at home.
Belkin Connect USB-C 11-in-1 Multiport Dock
Another indispensable accessory on my home workdesk, this 11-in-1 Multiple Dock enables my laptop to be connected to many devices at once, without having to worry about the shortage of ports and lack of connectivity options on my laptop.
The 11 ports include USB-A and USB-C ports (with power delivery), SD and MicroSD card readers, HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA ports, 3.5mm audio jack, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
It really solves all my connectivity problems at home and at the office.
Belkin Connect USB-C 7-in-1 Multiport Hub Adapter
When I travel, this is what I bring along to provide connectivity for the light ultrabooks that I bring along for work or for leisure.
These ultrabooks tend to be super slim and compact for portability so they usually suffer from a dearth of connectivity ports.
The 7-in-1 Hub Adapter is a real life-saver and fulfills my needs for connectivity to card readers, USB-A and USB-C ports, as well as HDMI output.

Their accessories tend to be on the pricier side, but I find that the premium is well worth it. I used to buy those cheap brandless cables & chargers from mall kiosks. They don’t tend to last and I end up spending more to get replacements. There’s also the worry that the chargers could catch fire etc!
Yes it’s best to go with a brand that you can trust for that extra peace of mind!
