What’s the home printer of choice for my #WorkFromHome setup? It’s the ApeosPrint C325 dw colour laser printer from FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp.

First off, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp is actually the new name for the former Fuji Xerox after the joint venture company (between FUJIFILM and Xerox) came under FUJIFILM.
As you may know, Fuji Xerox was a global leader in laser printers, especially for enterprises and business users.
The ApeosPrint C325 dw single-function laser printer is a suitable printer for #WorkFromHome and small businesses.
Its print quality and speed, ink economy, ease of use, as well as compactness, duplex and wireless capability make it a versatile printer for the home and at customer-facing counters.
The ApeosPrint C325 dw single-function printer is the smallest and lightest printer model in their lineup and is targeted towards counter services, clinics and small businesses.
I have been using the printer for the past few months and find it a suitable printer for the #WFH workspace considering its performance, economy, ease-of-use, reliability and compact footprint.
The key requirements I have for a home printer (for work) is print quality and compactness, as well as the ability to print colour, double-sided, and from a wireless network.
Naturally, factors like print speed, ink/toner economy, and maintainability also weigh in.

The ApeosPrint C325 dw laser printer in the box, and freshly unboxed. Though compact, it is not particularly light at 17kg – fortunately it’s not something you have to lug around on a daily basis.
Firstly, the ApeosPrint C325 dw is really compact, measuring W410 x D430 x H255mm in a cubic shape without any trays or parts sticking out – it’s 34% smaller than its predecessor.
It’s only slightly bigger than the average home ink-jet printer but it’s easy to fit it into any #WFH workspace.
The control panel has a 2-line LCD display and simple intuitive buttons in one place.
In terms of print quality, the ApeosPrint C325 dw churns out great quality work documents at a good speed.
It is spec’d to spit out 31 pages per minute for A4-size printouts and 41ppm for A5 sizes, and the actual print speed I experienced was definitely faster than I need.
I like that it supports automatic duplex printing so printing double-sided was a breeze – no more waiting for one-side of all pages of a document to complete printing before manually reloading those printouts for the second sides to be printed.
The colour is rich because of the LED printhead with CCSLED technology that enables smooth and expressive high-resolution printing at 600 x 2400 dpi with stable intensity.
So I’m happy to report that the small/fine prints comes out really clear and I don’t discern any jaggedness even in diagonal lines.

For multifunction devices from Fujifilm Business Innovation that are capable of scanning/copying and faxing, the Print Utility V3 app for Android also allows you to scan/copy from your printer to your phone, and fax/email documents using the app.
The ApeosPrint C325 dw uses 4 toner cartridges (CMYK), each of which can print up to thousands of pages.
For businesses in public spaces and counter services which are worried about security, the Wi-Fi / NFC connection can be disabled.
Again, if you’re a business with retail stores and enterprise offices at different locations, your IT will enjoy easy installation and hassle-free fleet management by deploying the same cloned settings to multiple devices everywhere – instead of manually setting up each device.
The ApeosPrint C325 dw is designed to print up to 100,000 pages with less mechanical parts – after six months of usage, I’ve yet to encounter any problems or malfunction.
