Singapore will be the first in Asia to ship the Huawei P40 series of flagship Android smartphones. The new phones will hit the shelves in Singapore on 4 April, with pre-orders open from 27 March to 3 April. Prices, promotions and tech specs below.

The HUAWEI P40 and P40 Pro (in this photo) will be available in Deep Sea Blue (left), Silver Frost (middle), and Blush Gold (Right).
Bolstered with improved AI performance and 5G support, the HUAWEI P40 Series is the company’s first product line-up that is powered with 5G-enabled connectivity across its variants.

Customers can now make a pre-order till 3 April 2020 through the official channels listed below and enjoy a free premium bundle worth up to S$562, while stocks last.

Customers of the HUAWEI P40 Series will also enjoy Prestige Care services which includes the following.
- One year door-to-door repair pick-up and delivery service
- Two-year warranty coverage
- Three months screen insurance, terms and conditions apply
Note that the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro are 5G-capable and can be used to access the 5G network in Singapore after the local 5G network is launched.

The Huawei P40 phones will not come with Google Mobile Services but run on its proprietary Huawei Mobile Services with the EMUI 10.1 operating system on top of Android version 10.
AppGallery, the official app marketplace of Huawei, is pre-installed on the HUAWEI P40 Series.
Currently, AppGallery is available in over 170 countries/regions with 400 million monthly active users globally.
It provides apps across 18 categories including lifestyle, travel and entertainment.
Technical specifications for the Huawei P40
Apps in the AppGallery include banks such as UOB Mighty App; taxi operator ComfortDelGro and ride-hailing companies such as TADA and RYDE.
Huawei is also currently working with DBS and OCBC to add more mobile banking apps to the AppGallery.
The AppGallery also includes a Wishlist feature where users can suggest apps that are yet to be available on Huawei’s official app marketplace.
A notification message will be sent to the user as soon as the app is available for download on the AppGallery.
