Samsung has unveiled globally their latest flagship phablets. Both have 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED displays and 4GB RAM. Prices and availability in Singapore below.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+ (left) and S6 edge+ 4G+ comes with 5.7 inch QHD displays and 4GB RAM.
So the Samsung’s flagship devices basically comprise the following:

So the “basic flagship” is the Galaxy S6, with the other models being variants offering curved edges, bigger displays and stylus.
The Note 5 offers, as its main differentiator the S Pen stylus, but is essentially on the same hardware/software platform as the S6 series of smartphones.
Price & Availability in Singapore
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+ will be available this Saturday from 15 August 2015 in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum, with 32GB (S$1,088) and 64GB ($1,188) storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ 4G+ will be available one week later from 22 August 2015 in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum, with 32GB (S$1,188) and 64GB (S$1,288) storage.
Both devices will be available at local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores, authorised retailers and Samsung Experience Stores.
Compatible accessories for both devices are also available at the following recommended retail price:

Customers who purchase a Galaxy Note 5 4G+ from 15 August 2015 at local telecommunication operators, authorised retailers and Samsung Experience Stores will be able to enjoy a complimentary Fast Wireless Charging Pad (White only) worth S$98 and Clear Cover (Silver only) worth S$48 on a while-stocks-last basis.

The Galaxy Note 5 4G+ is a stunning upgrade to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note line.
Inspired by the design legacy of the Galaxy S6 4G+, it ergonomically fits in one hand with a narrower bezel and curved back.

The Enhanced Air Command launches immediately upon removal of the S Pen, and users can access Action Memo, Smart Select, Screen Write in addition to three favourite app shortcuts.
With an improved Screen Write feature, users can Scroll Capture up to 22 webpages and annotate on it.
Now sharing long online news articles is a breeze.
The updated Smart Select function makes image clipping easier by saving the URL with a photo cropped from the website into the Scrapbook app.
