The latest addition to the G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches, G’MIX GBA-400, offers music aficionados a variety of ways to enjoy music while on the go. Available in Singapore now at S$269.
The new G-SHOCK G’MIX GBA-400 comes in four colour combinations: Black x Silver, Black x Gold, Blue x Silver and Red x Silver.
By pairing the G-SHOCK with a smartphone via Bluetooth Smart technology, the user will be able control music playback, set audio controls, add live effects that simulate concert sounds and even identify names of songs from other music players2 with just a touch of a button.
To enjoy these enhanced functions, users need to download the G-SHOCK+ App and G’MIX App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The G-SHOCK+ App is a platform that enables Bluetooth Smart connectivity between one’s G-SHOCK and smartphone.
The G’MIX App, works in tandem and is a smartphone application that allows users to adjust the music volume, switch tracks and even augment your music to incorporate a live concert element on the phone while displaying key information on the GBA-400.
By turning the rotary switch on the G-SHOCK, the Song Identification function will trigger a search for the unknown song playing nearby.
The title of the song recognised will then be displayed on the G-SHOCK screen, making discovering songs simple and convenient.
While geared to music lovers, the GBA-400 retains G-SHOCK’s promise of durability as well as shock and water resistance (to 200m) in a lightweight 66g body.
The new G-SHOCK G’MIX GBA-400 is available at all Casio G-Factory and G-Factory Premium Stores at a Suggested Retail Price of S$269.
