My family and I were walking back to our hotel in Helsinki when we spotted this Irish Wolfhound across the road.

Its owner was taking it for an evening walk and both of them were waiting at the traffic light to cross the road.
The Irish Wolfhound was originally bred as warhounds and for hunting/guarding, but has since become a family pet in modern times. This ancient breed is the tallest dog breed in the world.
We’d never seen an Irish Wolfhound in the flesh before and were amazed at how huge and imposing the dog was.
Even though its owner was tall, the dog still looked really huge, like a large wolf prowling the streets.
