One highlight of the annual National Day celebrations is the fireworks, which are usually fired off in the evening towards the end of the National Day Parade (NDP) and mass display.
Here’s a video of the fireworks.
This is the eighth year that the National Day Parade is being held at the Floating Platform at Marina Bay, since “The Float@Marina Bay” was first commissioned in 2007.

Tiger Beer celebrated the Nation’s birthday with a National Day Party at Overeasy at One Fullerton. It was the culmination of a series of celebratory initiatives which engaged the populace to join in the activities. The local brew also changed out its traditional blue beer can for a red-and-white design during this period.
From next year, the NDP will be held at the newly completed National Stadium at the Sports Hub.
