The Honor 8X features a 6.5-inch FullView display with 91% screen-to-body ratio and a 2.5D double texture aurora glass body with a grating effect.

The 6.5-inch Notch Full-View Display 2.0 has a 19.5:9 ratio in a 5.5-inch long and 7.8 mm thick body.

At launch, the Honor 8X will be available in Black and Blue, with the Red color available at a later date.

The aspect ratio is close to the 21:9 ratio used in cinemas.

The Honor 8X uses advanced COF technology and a patented antenna design to narrow the width of the bottom border to 4.25mm and achieve 91% screen-to-body ratio which beats even flagship smartphones from other brands.

“With the newly unveiled Honor 8X, Honor is setting new benchmarks in hitting the balance between value, design and performance. Honor 8X isn’t just a beautiful embodiment of minimalism, it’s a trailblazer which demonstrates that flagship features do not demand flagship prices. Honor 8X exceeds the demands of consumers who don’t want a compromise – on price, on performance, or on eye-catching appearance,” says George Zhao, President of Honor.

Honor 8X uses a metal middle frame with a parallel gradation design that’s constructed from 15 layers, generating a different reflection from different angles.

Honor 8X adopts a new generation of Eye Comfort mode certified by TüV Rheinland that can reduce the blue light radiation emitted by the screen and prevent eye fatigue.

It also features sunlight and night display technology, which lets users see the screen clearly in the sunlight and makes reading before going to sleep more comfortable.

Honor is running a launch promotion on Lazada – customers who purchase the Honor 8X will be entitled to a free 128GB microSD card (worth S$69), doubling the storage on the Honor 8X to 256GB (while stocks last).
