The Backup Plus Slim is suitable as a mobile storage solution for the consolidating photos, videos and other files that are spread across multiple devices, social networks and personal computers.
It comes with USB 3.0 interface and Seagate boasts that the 2TB version is the world’s highest capacity drive fitting into a 12.1mm form factor.
The Backup Plus Fast comes with 4TB and its large capacity and fast speed makes it suitable for the field photographer or filmmaker offloading huge photo and video files (especially 4K videos) from cameras to avoid choking up the storage of their computers.
The drive is configured as RAID 0, which stripes the data across both drives increasing the volume capacity and transfer speed.
It also comes with USB 3.0 interface and promises transfer speeds of up to 220MB per second.
