“Façade projections in the Singapore arts scene are a rising trend and they are very well-received by Singaporeans. Epson is renowned for its projection technology and has been very supportive of the arts. They have worked closely with our operations team and the artists to perfect the projections on our façade,” said William Phuan, Director, The Arts House.

The outdoor multimedia projection show is developed in collaboration with CAKE Theatrical Productions, a contemporary theatre company in Singapore, and local multimedia artist Brian Gothong Tan.

Brian Gothong Tan is known for his cutting-edge and highly engaging works in theatre, film and installation art.

The result is an immersive integration of visual imagery and dance, backed by 16 Epson high-lumens commercial projectors.

“The use of technology offers audiences a new and novel experience for them to interact with the arts, and we hope that this multimedia light installation, will engage and excite the Singapore audiences in literature, by presenting this genre in new light,” added Phuan.

The show is in line with Epson’s twin efforts to challenge traditional boundaries with the latest technology and support the local arts and design scenes.
