Following the debut of Xiaomi’s Redmi budget smartphone in Singapore on 21 February, the Chinese phone maker is making its higher end Mi 3 available in Singapore from 12 noon TODAY, at S$419.

Xiaomi announces that the Mi 3 has been sold out after 2 minutes. The Chinese company does not reveal how many of the handsets were sold and does not plan on divulging the numbers as per its February launch of its Redmi budget smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi 3 Android smartphone is available (in Metallic Gray) in Singapore from 12 noon today at S$419.
Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 3 comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS display at 441 ppi, and runs a fast 2.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB processor, powered by a massive 3,050 mAh lithium-ion battery.
Weighing 145g and measuring 144 x 73.6 x 8.1mm, the Mi 3 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2MP front camera.
Both front and rear cameras record 1080p HD video.
