The new generation SUV is built to enhance the driving experience and provide comfort.
It comes equipped with a new electric all-wheel drive system, called e-4ORCE.
Combined with the latest twin-motor e-POWER electrified powertrain, it promises an instantaneous yet smooth 100% electric drive without having the need for plug-in charging.
“The X-Trail which has always been known for superior comfort, convenience and technological advancement, is now more premium. Would like to know more about the e-4orce system.
ok here’s something from Nissan:
The all-new Nissan X-Trail e-POWER with e-4ORCE is the fourth e-POWER model to be introduced in Singapore.
The Nissan X-Trail with e-4ORCE comes equipped with the latest generation of award-winning e-POWER technology, with twin electric motors that feature improved power, smoothness, and quietness for more effortless drives. The e-POWER system is powered by a specifically tuned VC-Turbo engine, which is the world’s first mass-produced variable compression ratio engine. With significantly improved output at low revs, the engine efficiently powers a generator to produce electricity. The combination of e-POWER and the VC-Turbo engine delivers a powerful driving experience and unparalleled quietness, while maintaining high fuel efficiency.
The X-Trail e-POWER is also equipped with the new e-4ORCE technology, which integrates Nissan’s twin electric motor and 4 Wheel Drive control systems with its chassis-control technology for a huge leap in acceleration, cornering, and braking performance. The ‘e’ in e-4ORCE represents the system that was developed to work solely with Nissan’s electrified powertrains. e-4ORCE raises driving performance and confidence on a wide variety of road surfaces, while providing a supremely comfortable onboard experience for all occupants.
The immensely powerful twin-electric motor system produces more than 500 Nm of INSTANT torque!
