The event underscores Lenovo’s maturity from a device-centric manufacturer to adopt a customer-centric strategy that offers end-to-end solutions to fulfill the business and organisational needs of their customers.
The Lenovo Experiential Day 2022 marks the resumption of the company’s flagship event in Singapore, from the hiatus arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking with some of the regular attendees of the event, I found that not a few were surprised at the departure from the past device-centric showcase of end-user hardware.

“In many ways, Lenovo Experiential Day 2022 highlights that Lenovo is no longer just a device-centric company, but an end-to-end solutions provider that is helping customers embark on their journey to digital transformation 2.0 in an era filled with increasing challenges but also tremendous opportunities,” said Nigel Lee, General Manager, Lenovo Singapore.
Personally, I am glad Lenovo Singapore is adopting a more customer-centric approach in offering real-world holistic solutions to meet the needs of business and organisations seeking digital transformation through technology.
This year’s Experiential Day showcased end-to-end solutions that Lenovo has architected to help businesses and organisations overcome challenges in their operations and workflow, instead of merely peddling devices like what most PC-makers tend to do.
The theme for the event was “Reimagining A Smarter Future Together”.
The one-day event saw the gathering of customers, partners and selected media to see how Lenovo is putting Digital Transformation 2.0 front and center, and how organisations can adapt to the changing configuration of work and evolve their workplaces with smarter, more integrated, and personalised experiences.
With hybrid work becoming a permanent configuration, the provided its audience a peek into the smart workplace of the future to demonstrate how CIOs can re-examine their IT infrastructure, while keeping in mind aspects such as employee experience and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
The showcases were designed around six thematic zones and featured an integrated approach incorporating the full range of technologies – devices, software and services – to address the wide range of requirements that businesses and organisations need.
The six thematic zones include the following.
- Lenovo Building & Workplace Solutions
- Lenovo Smarter Learning
- Smart Distance Learning
- Lenovo ThinkReality
- Lenovo TGX Remote Workstation Software / Lenovo Self-Checkout Kiosk
- Lenovo Future of Work
